Chapter 2

Your Pov

Once we got to Hogwarts the first years were sorted into their houses. Then Dumbledore did his boring speach about the rules and loyalty and whatever blah blah blah. I started to fill my plate with potatoes and chicken and all sorts of food. I finished my plate of food and I was full. I waited for Cedric to finish his food. After a couple of minutes he was finally finished. "Are you ready?" I asked

"Yeah I'm ready but I'm kinda scared" he said "don't be come on let's go before were late for curfew and we get caught". We ran outside and I lead him him to the Whomping Willow. "This is my new friend yes I know it's a tree but it's friendly to me so I became friends with it". Cedric just stood there in shock. I waited for him to speak or do something. After a while which felt like an eternity he said "how are you friend with the Whomping Willow its dangerous and it doesn't like anyone".

"I don't know I guess it made an acception to me". As I finished my sentence the big tree picked me up with its branches and held me tight. It began to hug me and throw me around ( playfully and it was soft not rough). I laughed at how high and how much fun I was having. Then I heard Cedric say "I'll see you tomorrow in class I'm gonna go hang out with my friends you comming?". "I'm gonna stay here for a bit have fun bye". And with that Cedric left the Whomping Willow kept throwing and catching me. After a while I heard a voice it was a sturn and deep voice say " your gonna get yourself killed and besides its past curfew".

I was put down by the Whomping Willow and I was met with no other then prefect boy Tom Riddle. "Actually I'm not gonna get myself killed because the Whomping Willow happens to not hate me and besides I wouldn't care if I died" I said.
