After a long time, they can only place elite teams of investigators to hunt the ghoul in that ward to prevent the ghoul from being out of control. It can be said that it only wards that CCG cannot gain full control on.

There is some truth in CCG's speculation. At least about the part where there is a ghoul's city in the 24th ward. There are many ghoul villages in underground passages, some big, some small. The small one has only ten to twenty residences while the big one has more than three-digit numbers.

The largest town among these should be the town that the one-eyed king creates. It has a lot of buildings such as houses and some electricity and there are almost five hundred ghouls living around this area. It is, without a doubt, the largest group of ghouls in Tokyo, or even in Japan.

However, the ghouls that lived in this town did not have any sense of pride or safety that they could live under the legendary one-eyed king. Due to the lack of social structure and the lack of food, this town has very low safety regulations. There are murder cases almost every day and cannibalism is a normal episode, it is even more dangerous than on the ground that is dominated by CCG.

And now, far away from the huge space that is the town's placement, near one of the giant sewers' entrances, there is a small hole that was dug up by people. Our protagonist is also performing an action that is normal for the resident, cannibalism.

Normally, eating ghouls is more troublesome than eating human meat since normal weapons cannot penetrate a ghoul's skin. The boy nimbly handled the corpse with the Quinque before taking it piece by piece. Ghoul's body structure is quite different from a human's one, they can live without eating anything for weeks, and eat a huge amount of food if they need to. After a short period of time, the amount of food that he takes is almost equal to his body weight.

Yorimitsu patted his stomach with satisfaction. From the fullness he senses, he shouldn't have to worry about the food for almost two weeks.

He throws the dagger back to the place he took it before dragging the ghoul's remaining out of the house and leaving It in the wild. As for whether it will become another ghoul food or rot away, that's not what he should consider.

After Yorimitsu cleans all the mess from the meal, he stands in front of his underground house, looking at the ghoul town far away, sighing while thinking about his life.

Yorimitsu wasn't a native of this world. At least his soul's not, he remembers that he is dying from an accident when he was in high school, then, he reincarnated into this world as a one-eyed ghoul, an existence that lives between the human and ghoul world.

To explain this, first, we must introduce the Washuu clan, a ghoul clan that controls Tokyo and created the current situation of CCG and ghoul, ruling everything from behind the scenes. Rize Kamishiro, one of the most important characters, also comes from Washuu.

The one-eyed king is also from the Washuu clan, but he is dissatisfied with Washuu and leads the ghouls to declare war with his family, trying to free the ghoul from the invisible bird cage created by Washuu. Apparently, he failed. Then he leads his people into the 24th ward, leaving behind only the tale about the one-eyed king.

Yorimitsu is very surprised that he has this legendary figure as his father, but soon he realizes that he cannot rely on this identity to gain any benefits in this ward. He wasn't a formal heir or righteous descendant. It seems that the king only has a one-night-stand relationship with a female ghoul, his mother, then his mother decides to keep him because of the scarce number of ghouls. It seems that because his father is a half-ghoul, his mother did not have to eat human food and her body also did not absorb him. So, his birth can be considered pure luck.

More importantly, the king did not look like a sane person. It seems that the failure of the fight with Washuu and the time spend underground have driven him crazy, living near him might bring danger instead of safety.

His mother also realized this fact, so she did not bother the king and tried to raise him by herself. His mother raised him till she was killed in a fight three years ago, leaving him who was only four years old at that time to live by himself, she left only his name, Yorimitsu Minamoto.

To be honest, he did not have any liking for this name. It reminds him of Minamoto no Raikou, an ancient Japanese general, the purple berserker of FGO. But it's the name that the mother in this world gives him anyway, and he is too lazy to think of a new name, so Yorimitsu Minamoto has officially become his new name in this world.

The seven years full of killing and cannibalism have washed away almost all of it, making him become a ghoul with memory about the future events of the world.

"Well, there's no point thinking about the old issue. I should focus on surviving in this damn place first." Yorimitsu talk to himself before walking back into his home which is a hole digs by himself.

Inside is a small single room with only a small table with a candle as a light source, an old sleeping cushion, a box storing his clothes, and a shelf that is full of necessities tools and a couple of suitcases, Quinques, which should be his most valuable property.

He looks at those suitcases for a moment, considering which weapon he should use, before grabbing a suitcase that has the word 'spear' labeled on it, then heading towards the dark tunnel that leads to other areas of the 24th ward.

This is his daily routine after he has a stable life. Finding prey, then looking for an opponent to hone his skills after he is full.

Other ghouls might condemn him if they know his lifestyle. Most of the ghouls will fight because they are hungry, but this brat fights just for fighting. Did this lunatic have too much time to spend?

Yorimitsu thinks that as a reincarnated people who know the secret of this world, and as the existence that living between two species, just survive is not enough. He wants to bring change to this world. Although now he cannot figure out what should he do, strength is an indispensable factor.

Ghoul's body is far stronger than normal people's, even if Yorimitsu is only seven years old, his body is no different from athlete's. He went straight into the labyrinth part with an astonishing speed foor seven years old kid.

The 24th ward is full of ghouls and investigators, Yoriitsu encounters two ghouls just thirty minutes after he starts his journey.

"A kid? What did this brat do here?" One of the ghouls speaks while the other grins. Although they realize that the kid in front of them is their kin, the maliciousness in their eyes tells that they decide to treat Yorimitsu as their next meal.

This is all right, because Yorimitsu also treats them as his punchbags too.

His hand clicks the switch on the suitcase to activate the Quinque, transforming the RC cell into the shape of the two-meter read spear with a diamond-shaped head. It has a pointed bottom like a needle which could be use for stabbing as well.

"Wait, how come..." It was not until now that the ghouls realize that what was in Yorimitsu's hand was a Quinque. He also did not give time for them to think. At the moment that the Quinque began to take its shape, the boy dashed forward and stabbed one of the ghouls' throats with lightning speed. The unlucky ghoul did not realize what had happened and died just like that.

"What a weak fighting awareness." He muttered while plucking the spear from the opponent's throat. Until his death, this guy did not even react or prepare to fight. It even makes him curious how could this ghoul grew up this big without getting killed.

"You damn kid. I'm going to kill you!" The remaining ghoul widens his eyes before shouting out loud. A red kagune, a ghoul's hunting organ, that looks like a tail growing out of his lower back.

The ghoul controls his kagune to flick like a whip, intending to kill Yorimitsu in one move.

"Well, whatever." Yorimitsu easily deflects the opponent's kagune, swings the spear, and uses its head to cut off his limbs, stabbing into his chest that it becomes a pool of blood.

"Are you not a ghoul? How come you use those dove's weapons!" The ghoul yelled before being stabbed right between the eyebrows.

"Really? Is that your last words? How lame." Yorimitsu titled his head, cleaning his Quinque before putting it back in the suitcase.

"It's true although it's lame, isn't it? Mr. Lancer." A youthful voice of a girl coming from the top of his head along with the sound of projectiles that shot through the air made Yorimitsu's alertness go through the roof.

Judging from the sound, it has a high possibility that the other party just launch an attack from his blind spot. He can only respond with instinct due to his lack of vision. He called out his kagune, a deep orange ukaku, which spreads out from his right shoulder to his back like a cape. And with the increase of RC-cell activity, his speed has a huge leap and makes him narrowly escape the attacker's move.

He activates the quinque that has just been put inside the box and then quickly look at the direction where the attack comes from. At the place four or five meters from the ground, he saw a small figure, maybe as small as him, standing on the iron pipe attached to the tunnel, looking down at him as if looking at some kind of show.
