Qin Jie was also watching the conversation unfold. When people started to ship him and Lin Ya, it ignited a strange warmth in him. And when Lin Ya herself joined the chat, he immediately started to follow her account.

Looking over her account page, he saw the singular picture posted. One of her in that beautiful light blue dress that had gotten her the name of ice goddess. The picture was not over 1 week old and it had already gotten nearly 15 million likes and 7 million reposts. As Qin Jie refreshed the page, the amount of followers and likes continued to go up. He felt both a strange sense of pride and nervousness seeing her popularity grow exponentially.

Qin Jie ended up staying up to nearly 3:00 AM just watching the world chat and stal--watching the rise of Lin Ya's popularity.

Lin Ya woke up to a phone call from Fan Mei.

"Hello?" She responded still groggy.

"Congratulations on being officially famous." Fan Mei's over cheerful tone woke Lin Ya up completely.

"Huh?" She asked her best friend.

"Check you weibo right now, ma'am!" Fan Mei demanded and then ended the call.

Lin Ya obediently opened her weibo and instantly her eyes went wide again. The large scale debate was still at full force and her followers overnight had shot up from 9.9 million to nearly 21 million. 'My life still isn't that interesting.' Lin Ya thought to herself.

Lin Ya could only laugh at the netizens antics as she silenced her alarm and rolled out of bed.

Lin Ya got dressed in a above the knee coral colored dress with a black bow in the middle. She put her hair up in a messy bun and put on her favorite nude colored heels. Bidding goodbye to Aunt and Uncle Lin, she headed out the door and drove to work.
