Marry Me?

Shoto's POV

It was getting closer and closer to graduation, and the closer it got, the more nervous I was getting. I was trying to hide it, but (y/n) can always see right through me.

"What's wrong Shoto?" She asked in a concerned voice.

"Just a little nervous, graduation is getting closer." I technically wasn't lying, but I was nervous for different reasons.

"You'll be fine! How long have you known all of us?" She gave me a reassuring smile. Oh (y/n), you have no idea.

"Yeah, your right." I smiled back at her.

"Alright then, it's almost time to put on our gowns, I should go get changed, we have to meet in the front of the school in half an hour." She gave me a peck on my lips and ran off to get ready. I probably should too.

The graduation was suppose to be in front of UA, since it's where everything started, plus it's a big school, so there was a lot of room, for chairs and what not.

"Todoroki, are you ready for your big day?" Sero asked me as all the other boys started to gather around me.

"Are you sure it isn't too early?" I asked them. No doubt that I wanted to marry (y/n). I just wanted to make sure she felt the same, and if not, it's completely fine, I'm always willing to wait for her.

"Are you kidding me?? You guys never leave each other's side!" Kaminari reassured me, punching my arm.

"Yeah, todoroki! Just go for it!" Midoriya smiled at me.

"Yeah you guys are right. I'm ready." I slightly smiled and we all walked to the front of the school together, and sat in our assigned seats. The guys were on one side, and the girls were on the other. Aizawa would be calling a boy and a girl up to graduate. And he made it so me and (y/n) would go up together. I already talked to him about it

Flashback

"Hello Aizawa" I walked into his office, it was getting late and classes were over, it looked like he was grading his final papers for his soon to graduate students.

"Ugh I've been with you trouble makers for years and you still can't knock?" He jokes with me.

"I apologize but it's really important." I sat down in a chair next to him.

"What is it kid?" Even though we were all older now, it's funny how he still sees us as first year 14 year olds.

"You explained to us how graduation is going to go, and I have a request." I started rubbing my hands together from being nervous.

"What is it?" He asked eyeing me suspiciously.

"When you call out for a boy and a girl, can you call up me and (y/n) together?" I looked away from him, he definitely knew there was something more to it.

"And why's that? Arn't you two lovebirds together all the time anyways."

"Yes, but you see.. I'm planning on u-Um proposing to her." There was silence for a few seconds as it seemed Aizawa was thinking.

"I didn't think it would be so soon. You guys are really growing up fast. Heh I sound like a old man. Anyways, yes I can do that for you." He smiled at me, that's one of the first time I seen him fully smile.

"Thank you." I bowed towards him.

"Stay out of trouble kid."

End of flashback

Before they started calling up names some of the teachers gave a speech, like Allmight, present mic, and aizawa. Waiting honestly just made me more nervous, so nervous my leg was shaking up and down. I keep telling myself in my head that this won't be hard at all but, the closer and closer it gets, the harder it seems to be.

"Todoroki calm down!" Midoriya whispered yelled next to me.

"Yes! Shaking your leg up and down is a form of anxiety! Try taking deep breaths." Iida whispered from behind me as well, I just nodded my head and continued to listen to the teachers speech.

"We will now be calling up names of the people graduating." Aizawa said in a tired voice.

My heart instantly started to beat faster as he started calling up students names.

"Yuga Aoyama"

"Mina Ashido." The two walked up on different sides of the stairs and bowed to the teachers and took there graduation paper then went back down the stairs proceeding to sit down. I knew Aizawa's plan was to call me and (y/n)'s name last, so that was even more nerve wrecking in a way.

"Tsuyu Asui"

"Katsuki Bakugo" he continued to call up names

"Toru Hagakure"

"Tenya Iida"

"Kyoka Jiro"

"Denki Kaminari" It seemed that time kept going faster, and before I knew it, I heard my name being called.

"Shoto Todoroki"

"(Y/n) (l/n)"

I stood up slowly and started to walk over to the stairs. Anxiety was kicking in, but I would never let that ruin this moment. I patted the back of my pocket while walking up the stairs to make sure the ring was still in the case, thank god it was.

I shook the teachers hands and grabbed my graduation paper. I took a moment to look at the crowd. Everyone seemed excited for what was about to happen.

I looked back in front of me and was now face to face with (y/n).

Your POV

I couldn't wait for this moment! It's sad that all of our memories at UA high school are going to come to an end, but at the same time I couldn't wait to become a hero! I wanted to prove to my mother and most of all my brother that even if you get lost in the darkness, you can always find a light, and right now my light was Shoto and my dream of becoming a hero.

As I was walking up the stairs on the opposite side of Shoto, I noticed that he seemed sort of nervous, I didn't think this kind of thing would make him nervous. I also noticed the crowds extra excitement and my dad tearing up. Something was going on, but for now, I brushed off the thought and kept my focus on the now.

I grabbed my graduation paper and bowed to Aizawa. When I was standing straight up again, I was face to face with Shoto. Aizawa smiled at us and moved out of the way.

"(Y/n), I have a question to ask you." He smiled at me, he seemed truly happy but under his smile I could see his nervousness.

"What is it? You have to ask it right now?" I giggled.

"Yes, it's quite important" he chuckled, then got down on one knee. I gasped and put a hand over my mouth.

No, he's not, is he?

He reached for something in his back pocket. And opened a tiny box which revealed to have a beautiful ring inside of it sitting there perfectly in place.

"We've been together for a while now, and I've never once doubted my love for you, I love you with all my heart, we've been through thick and thin together and I want to continue to be with you for the rest of my life.

So will you (y/n) (l/n) marry me?"
