Emotions

Once we were in front of my house I looked at Todoroki with a nervous look.

"You'll be fine." He said in a reassuring voice.

I smiled at him

"Call me after, okay?" He said putting his hands on my shoulders.

He looked at me in the eyes as I did the same. A little blush came on both of our faces. We stayed like this for a minute. Then Todoroki let go of my shoulders and smiled.

"Call me." He said and turned around with a smile still planted on his face and cheeks still slightly pink.

I smiled at him and went into a house, with butterflies in my stomach? I didn't know that after almost a week of knowing someone you can like and trust them this much. But then again it was quite a long week.

I slowly opened the door to see my mom in the Kitchen.

She looked at me and her eyes instantly went wide.

"(Y/N)!" She said running up to me hugging me before I could even close the door.

"Are you okay."She said touching my face looking for any marks.

"Mom.. Mom you can stop." I said laughing a bit.

"I'm fine, I stayed at Todoroki's." I said trying to calm her down.

"You what?!" She said backing away putting her hands on her hips.

" Did you guys sleep together." She said making a disappointmed face.

"What? No! Were just friends. I slept in his bed but he slept on a chair." I said in a panic.

"Hm We will talk about that another time, for now.. How are you feeling?" She asked her voice going from serious to concerned really quick.

"I mean.. I'm not sure how to feel." I said in a sad tone.

My mom looked at me with a frown on her face.

"I'm sorry, I really am, I should have told you sooner." She said pulling me into a tight hug.

I hugged her back.

"So your not going to run off on me tonight right?" She said laughing a little.

"Well I can't promise anything but most likely not." I said laughing with her.

" Okay I'll make some dinner." She said walking toward the the kitchen as I started walking towards my room.

As soon as I got to my room I called Todoroki

"Hello?"

"Hi!" I said in a happy tone.

" By your tone I'm assuming all went well?" He said in his usual monotone voice.

"Yes! Everything is well."

"I'm glad to hear." He said with a chuckle.

"Anyways I was thinking that maybe tomorrow at lunch you'd want to have lunch on the roof?" He said nervouse laugh at the end."

"Well of course!" I said in excitement

"SHOTO." I heard on his side of the phone.

" Is everything okay?" I asked in concern.

" I'm sorry (y/n) I have to go." He then hung up quickly.

Well that was weird. I thought.

Suddenly I got a notification.

It was my best friend!

(B/F) " Hey, how are you."

You" "Hi!" I been good for the most part."

(B/F)" for the most part?"

You-"long story." I laughed.

(B/F)- " hows the boy you been hanging with?" She asked

You-"we've definitely gotten closer.. I spent the night at his house yesterday.."

(B/F)- hm.. I see you guys having lunch tomorrow?" She teased me.

You-"Yeah.. Why?." I asked in confusion.

(B/F)- "Just don't mess anything up.." She said making me nervous.

You- "Haha I won't."

(B/F)- well I'll be out to visit sometime soon, I have to go. I'll talk to you tomorrow."

You-"Okay byeeee." I said and hung up

I'm not sure what she's up to but she never done anything to harm me.. So might as well go with it...

"(Y/N) time to eat!" My mom called me from the kitchen. So with that I went to eat with my mother.

"So how was your day today?" She asked in curiosity.

"Well it was okay, I have to talk to my dad by the end of the week." I said rolling my eyes.

"It'll b good for you." She smiled at me taking a bite of her food.

" Yeah but... He still left... What a hero." I said angrily. I used to admire Allmight.. I used to see him on TV and always thought how I wanted to be just like him... No wonder my mom always changed the channel so quick. Now all I feel from my so called "dad" is betrayal.

"Don't talk like that (y/n) I'm sure he has a good reason.." She said unsure of herself.

I just rolled my eyes.

" Wheres my birth mother anyways." I asked her in a quite voice.

I never really asked about my birth mother. I never thought of it until now.. I loved my mother now.. But it doesn't mean I never wondered who my real mother was...

My mom looked down.

" She wasn't ready to have a kid let alone 2." She said in a upset voice.

"So I took you guys in." She said tears forming in her eyes.. Probably remembering what happened to my brother. It doesn't help that I look exactly like him.

"Excuse me for a minute." My mom said putting her fork down and going into her bedroom.

A frown then formed on my face. Oh how I wish my life could be more simpler than this.

I put down my fork and walked into my room.

Well, might as well go to bed since I have nothing better to do. It's been a long day anyways. I thought to myself.

But before I could even get into my room I heard someone knock on the door.

I slightly cracked open the door.

"Todoroki?" I said in confusion

"Is everything okay?" I said stepping outside and closing the door behind me.

Then suddenly he hugged me. It shocked me at first but I slowly hugged him back.

He put his face in the crook of my neck.

"I'm sorry for coming so suddenly." He said his voice muffled in my neck.

"No, no its completely fine, what happened?" I said with him still hugging me.

Todoroki's POV

I walked (y/n) home seeing that she was nervous about seeing her mom again. I know she didn't want to go back yet, but she should never leave her on bad terms. It reminded me of me and my mom..

I told her to call me and walked home.

Once I got home I opened the door to be greeted by my father.

"Why do you always come home later then usual.. Shoto." He said with anger in his voice.

" Because I'm in no rush." I told him and that straight away made hub 10x angrier.

"What do you mean taking your time?!" He yelled at me.

" I'll show you taking your time." He said dragging me by the arm upstairs into the training room. I instantly knew I was going to be there all night.

" Start training!" He said fire going torwards the dummy he had set up. He then locked the door and I heard his footsteps stomp away and him yell in anger.

Then I heard my phone ring.

It was (y/n). I instantly picked up the phone hoping she could put me in a better mood.

"Hello?"

"Hi!" She said with in happy tone, so that was a good sign.

" By your tone I'm assuming all went well?" I said in my normal voice.

" Yes! Everything went well!" She sounded happy. It's funny how her mood can change mine in an instant.

" I'm glad to hear." I said with a chuckle.

"Anyways, I was thinking that maybe tomorrow at lunch you'd want to eat lunch on the roof?" I'm not sure where that came from, it just came out. It may have only been almost a week... But it felt right to be next to her, different from any other girl.

" Well of course!" She said sounding excited.

"SHOTO." I heard my father coming torwards the training room.. Crap

"is everything okay?" I heard her ask.

"I'm sorry (y/n) I have to go." Then I quickly hung up not wanting to take the chance of being caught. I quickly got in place and tried to look like I was out of breath.

Then I heard the door slam open.

"Are you training young man!" My dad yelled seeing that it looked like I was.

" I could have sworn I heard voices!" He said looking around the room.

I just looked at him search quietly knowing he wasn't going to find anything or anyone.

"Hm.. I may just let you see your mother then." He said in a non caring voice.

"She's in critical condition." He said leaving the room.

Mt eyes went wide. How could he not give a care in the world? I don't understand. He reminds me more of a villain than a hero.

I grabbed my jacket and ran down to the hospital where my mom was. I quickly rushed up the lady at the desk. She knew me quite well since I always come in to see my mom.

"Hi Shoto." She said in a happy voice.

" I'm assuming your heard about your mom." She said her voice instantly going to a sad tone.

I just nodded my head.

"There performing a emergency surgery on her." She frowned.

"Oh.. Okay." I said starting to walk out with all these emotions built up inside of me. Sadness, anger, regret..

Then before I knew it I wandered to (y/n)'s house.

How'd I get here? I thought.

I paused as I put a hand up to the door.

I knocked quietly knowing it was sorta late to be stopping by.

I then saw (y/n) open the door slightly.

"Todoroki?" She said surprised

"is everything okay?" It's like she could tell if there was something wrong. She stepped outside and closed the door behind her.

I don't know what came over me but I just hugged her tightly. Like all my emotions were being let out at once.

I put my face in the crook of her neck.

" I'm sorry for coming so suddenly." I said my voice muffled in her neck.

"No,no its completely fine, what happened?" She said sounding worried. I never let go of the hug.

"I just need someone right now" I said trying not to show any emotions.
