To Wither and to Bloom

Wayde was scared. He wanted to run away. He was just 11 years old, barely able to understand what just happened. His parts lied next to his feet. Dead. Both of them. He stared at his hands. There was no blood. Yet he knew he killed them. By just a touch. A nightmare that he can't run away from. After missing for a few days and returning without any memories of that time period, young Wayde has to face the truth: anything he touches dies. Desperate, he now wanders around, helplessly trying to find both the root and the cure to his curse. The first clue appears in form of a girl - a girl with an insatiable wish for death.

Chapter 1.5 - The First Letter From You To Me

Let me ask you a question. How determined are you? How much work would you put in to get what you want? Well, actually, that's a pretty broad question. Let me make it a little more specific.

Let's say you are playing a game. By completing the game, you would get an extremely rare achievement. But the problem is that the game is extremely hard. You have tried to beat it countless times, and with each try, it seems more and more impossible. Do you give up? Even though you really want that achievement? Ugh, I guess it would depend on how fun the game is... okay, whatever, forget this analogy. You see, I won't give up. I don't really have a choice. Neither do you. Plus, I don't think it's impossible. Those two might be the key, who knows. They might be hard to cooperate and they have led me to a dead end multiple times, but I think it's worth it. I - well, you - will just have to get the best out of them. Actually, the last few times there were three of them, see the past logs for more information on that. I am not so sure about how useful the third will be, but... each new person opens a new door of endless possibilities, right? I'll... no wait, you... ugh, this is annoying... anyway, you'll just have to go and open each door, I'm sure one of them will lead to the "achievement". But that's enough from me, the others are coming and I really don't want them to see this. Good luck out there. Don't forget who you are. Don't forget what you have tried so far. And most importantly, don't forget your goal.
