They had to go home the next day.
The air between the kids was still stagnant, especially with Alvin. Vincent noticed this earlier than Jasmine did, and he gave her a questioning glare. Feeling wrong with how he looks at her, Jessamine violently shook her head and tells him that she didn’t know what’s up with the two either. Sighing, Vincent can only let go because it seems like the two had no plans on telling him what’s going on.
It was an awkward drive.
During that awkward silence, Vincent formulated reasons and causes for the two to end up being like this. Was it because he didn’t take them from Gabriella’s house himself, or was it because of Gabriella herself?
Vincent pursed his lips, thinking how stupid he was to not ask his mother about what they did in their first ‘lesson’.
‘She’s up to no good, as always,’ Vincent bit his tongue, trying to punish himself. ‘I knew that. But I’m stupid enough to forget about that.’
He can only suffer in silence.
