Chapter 18: Lost In The Dark World

As they entered, their skin became sensitive to the atmosphere, and the Darkness didn't do any good to them. "Has anyone brought a torch?" Asked Alex, looking at everyone in the hope of a positive response before moving further into the dark.

None of them had any light source beforehand, knowing the only way was to cast a constant fire source.

"Wait!" Saffron said, preventing them from doing it just yet. "My staff can shine a magic light to show the path!".

Alex became happy as one problem went away. "Lead the way!" he said, letting Saffron guide them in their path.

Saffron kept the light source active, leading them through the darkness. However, none of them could see anything in the distance except the dark. "Are we even getting somewhere?" Maeve, the archer, asked. In response, Delaynie from behind them said, "We lost the way backward so we sure are getting somewhere!".
