Chapter 7 Burn baby, Black rite?

The roasted doppelganger jumped then attacked with its mace with a downward swing smashing the ground, and the mere shockwaves from it were deafening as Cu barely avoided that strike then retreated some distance to let his fire breathe do some damage.

The roasted skin of the doppelganger cracked from the fury it felt as twice now it felt like the man that is to be changed by order of the archfiends was mocking it yet again!

The horrifying roar it made as the monster's frame began to enlarge, and veins were protruding as more of the deadly corruption erupted from its body, consuming the life of everything nearby before they turned into fiends ready to do the bidding of the one that created them.

With no jokes in mind this time, Cu summoned forth the subskill again much easier than before as he called forth its name.

"千丨尺乇 乃尺乇卂ㄒ卄!!!"

A torrent of flames burst out like a flame thrower burning the weaker fiends first as they were weakly foolish enough to charge without thinking. Cu maintained the flames as he trailed it to all of his enemies, while the plan was to burn them all in one go. A large figure charged like a tank trampling the fiends as it intended on squashing Cu.

Thanks to the spell he had activated, Cu moved like the shadows as his body seemingly passed through the beast before blasting the back of the monster. Still, that strange membrane of black mist it emitted resisted the attack and spreading the flames to the surrounding area as some of the remaining tents and the fences feed the flames as well.

The fiends were also getting caught in the crossfire!

The affected fiends returned to their original forms as the sounds they made can cause an animal lover to clutch their chest in misery as they burned while crying out to be saved in their own way as a barely alive animal in the inferno Cu and his enemy made!

Cu repeatedly used his subskill while trying to find the vulnerable spots with his short swords. He managed to find the areas the ankles and armpits, the thrill of this fight was too enjoyable that he tried prolonging it as long as possible as with every dodge, attack, and/or spell, it was like the experiences of his Soul sacrifice character were leading and training him in the best way possible.

When it started where he was attacking from afar, now he was practically inches away from the large monster, gradually getting closer, lessening his movements, sharpening them, slowly but surely becoming one with the colliding memories.

"GGGRRAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!"

The doppelganger was trying to pump itself up as its roar shook the air around as its growls followed with every swing of the large mace it had, crushing its creations and the ground as well as whatever obstacles that got in its way.

Fiends feed upon the weaker ones to reach the next rank in power as they all sought to become the next archfiends trying to join the ranks as in the game, it was said that there were originally 15 of them. Still, more than 8 fiends reached that rank as time passed due to the negligence of the sorcerers that were to put down any fiends that showed signs of that chance.

Things have changed. This monster didn't move too similar to how it should be compared to the game, meaning that they either have gotten smarter or how they should be since this was a living version rather than one that had a fixed kind of movement.

The monster Cu was facing was breathing out steam from its fury, and from being burned earlier, he began slicing away at its flesh piece by piece with each planned incision made by his bloodthirsty blades, clipping away at any reachable ligaments and tendons.

With its mace at the ready from the side, it swung it yet again, hoping to crush him as it now looked at Cu as an insect to be squashed. Cu used his movement spell to help him narrowly dodging it.

*the sound of flesh being stabbed into and the sound of something being cut with a snip*

Before stabbing his short swords like scissors that got prepared to cut into the wrist that held the Mace before closing them in together, the Doppelganger of the three little pigs lost its grip on the mace, causing it to crash into the ground nearby as it rolled quite some distance away, the pained squealing of the monster followed!

It cried in pain as its hand hung loosely from its wrist lifelessly before doing something yet again that you wouldn't see in the game it ripped off its own hand then ate it!

The monster's eyes turned white as it was now going berserk! It picked up any nearby fiends then started throwing them at Cu with even more power than before. Its speed was now quadruple than its normal state before shooting its venomous spit that created small craters where ever it hit.

Since this was its last hurrah, Cu did something that the beast did expect he placed one of his blades into his mouth before cutting into his left arm from his elbow down to his wrist before pulling out his radial and ulna bones still covered in flesh and blood as his left hand dangling about connected only by some strands of flesh and skin while proclaiming.

"I commend you for giving me such a good fight, but with how things are no,w sadly, I must put an end to it... you have earned the chance to experience my first original black rite!"

Cu's idea, thanks to the full collections of black rites that were too hindering, he decided to make something similar to a spell and a summon while it was still time constricted. The effects are pretty powerful. He had this idea ever since Cu has seen all of the black rites in action, but they were all repetitive and didn't suit the way he wanted it to be.

The arm that Cu sacrificed began moving unnaturally as if it had a mind of its own as it fell to the ground, it grew larger and larger as if there was no end to its growth there was a limit actually the overall mana and half of the health of its creator that acts as the binding ritual to prevent it from eating its owner!

It was three times the size of the monster Cu was facing its mouth opened slightly, which is lined with venom-dripping teeth as a quarter of its body was its death beckoning maw, that is large enough to swallow the whole doppelganger with ease, but that was not what he got it here for!

He wanted it to consume the corruption of the surroundings and from the monster and wanted to 'save' the sorcerer to get some very much needed answers!

His black rite creation let out a low growl that made everything that heard it shudder in fear, an instinctive feeling that many fiends forget after changing into these abominations that they were now. It waited eagerly for its master's order as its numerous large eyes gleam with primordial hunger as its very presence brought silence to the area...

That was until Cu was sitting down while sweating from the cost, and the amount of lifeforce it took finally gave it its orders.

"drain that big oaf of all its corruption and essence, as for the rest...do as you please."

Another strange sight followed as The fiends all around tried running with panicked roars, growls, and other sounds that they made followed. This was something that they would never do. They would go as far as hiding to find a chance to strike, however, never do they run! but too bad for them, they were just too slow...

There was no intimidating roar or warning from this creature that Cu created; it simply Feasted upon everything as within a ten-mile radius. The large monster leveled the whole area!
