After completing the last sentence, he looked at Lucy with teary eyes to see whether she heard that or not, that he is in pain. And he saw that she is crying silently. She looked at him as if she is hearing nothing after that. But, when her eyes met him, she immediately looked away knowing that she can't control herself if she saw him crying.
Everyone who understood what was going on around them sat there shocked. Connor and Cara kneeled in front of Devlin as they need to respect their king.
