Sitting on her chair, Lucy drank a glass of cold water thinking that the burning sensation will calm down if she drank cold water. But, nothing has stopped the burning sensation. Her wolf is also crying inside because of the burning sensation. Both knew that they can't able to break the promise Lucy did to her mother.
On the other hand, Devlin is also trying some ways to stop the burning sensation in his body. He is only trying that for Lucy as if it's successful for him, then it also must stop her burning sensation. But, nothing seems to be working. He has already asked Jammie, but Jammie also has nothing in his hands that can help them.
