Claire

That went well. Claire mutters to herself as she set the phone back down. She types up an email to Tonya with all the details from Mr. Martin. She is looking forward to this project. Tonya is always very focused when working on something new so Claire knows that this new order request will keep her boss busy until the project is complete.

Claire works continuously throughout the day, so she is surprised when Jane calls her name. She looks up and realizes that Jane is on her way out for lunch.

"Would you like me to bring you anything?" Jane asks

Where are you headed? Claire replies

"That little deli down the street, they have the best turkey club sandwiches."

Sure, I'll take whatever your having minus onions and ketchup if it comes with those. Claire says

Jane smiles and nods before heading out. Claire gets up and goes to the restroom as it has just become a very pressing need while talking to Jane. When Claire emerges and begins to head back to her desk, she sees someone waiting.

" Oh I'm sorry for the wait, how may I help you?"

As the person turns to reply, Claire sees that it is Cindy who was waiting.

Claire pauses in her steps.

"Why does this shit happen to me?" Claire thinks to herself
