Still Like Him?
Jake was secretly observing Kai as he settled on his meal. He saw him dive his knife into the pork. The way he started to cut right into the juiciness of the meat was quite amusing to Jake. Even though he had his own meal to focus on, he was much more interested in fixing his stare on Kaiden and how he chewed lightly on the meat he'd only just forked down his throat.
''You are such a beautiful eater.'' Jake commented. He could not hide his delight any longer.
Kai, on the other hand, heard his compliment but he took his time to chew properly on the meat before pushing it down with a sip of his red wine.
''For how long now have you been watching me eat?'' he teased further with a crinkle of his eyes which Jake could read as seemingly harmless because of how he smiled briskly.
