Little does she know that their encounters were not mere coincidences, as she had assumed. Jake is a man on a mission, driven by the manipulations of his grandmother. Consumed by a thirst for revenge for his father's tragic demise, he is determined to rectify the past and reclaim what he believes is rightfully his. In order to achieve this, he sets his sights on winning the heart of Kim Haewon, the sole heiress to the fortune he seeks to acquire. However, what Jake never anticipated was the unexpected twist of fate that led him to fall deeply in love while orchestrating his deceitful plan to steal the affection of the woman he was meant to despise. Can he afford to allow love to blossom between himself and the daughter of his enemies? (Photo Credit to the real owner of cover photo! It’s not mine)

Love And Acceptance

As Jake got ready to leave for school on Monday morning, he couldn't help feeling anxious and restless, considering that he was going to be sharing a class with Haewon that morning, and she might likely give him a response.

He didn't know if it was normal for guys to feel nervous or anxious when they asked a girl out, but he knew that was how he was feeling.

He never would have thought that her response to his proposal would matter so much to him, but over the weekend, he had come to realize that it did.

The last thing he wanted was for Haewon to say no. Not that he thought she would since he knew they were fond of each other, but somehow her delay made him nervous.

If she was going to say yes, she would have said so already, right? It wasn't like she was the type to play hard to get.

So, why was she taking so long to give him a response? Or had she decided now that she preferred him as just a friend and not a boyfriend?
