To Love And To Hate

This is a story of betrayal, love lost, and love found again. Kim Haewon, radiantly beautiful and unsuspecting, finds herself irresistibly drawn to Jake Davies, a man she perceives as her knight in shining armor, who always appears miraculously at crucial moments in her life. Little does she know that their encounters were not mere coincidences, as she had assumed. Jake is a man on a mission, driven by the manipulations of his grandmother. Consumed by a thirst for revenge for his father's tragic demise, he is determined to rectify the past and reclaim what he believes is rightfully his. In order to achieve this, he sets his sights on winning the heart of Kim Haewon, the sole heiress to the fortune he seeks to acquire. However, what Jake never anticipated was the unexpected twist of fate that led him to fall deeply in love while orchestrating his deceitful plan to steal the affection of the woman he was meant to despise. Can he afford to allow love to blossom between himself and the daughter of his enemies? (Photo Credit to the real owner of cover photo! It’s not mine)

Be My Girlfriend

After getting their orders of burgers and glasses of iced cola, Jake and Haewon settled into a booth at the diner where they had chosen to have lunch.

"How are your sisters doing?" Jake asked as he took a sip from his cold drink.

"They're doing great. They were very impressed when I told them about your insistence that we take things slowly. I think they approve of you now," Haewon said with a grin, and Jake raised a brow.

"You didn't tell me they disapproved of me before now," Jake said, and Haewon shook her head.

"It's not like they disapproved. They just had their reservations. You know, being my big sisters and having my back, they can't just approve so easily, especially considering the past," Haewon explained, and Jake nodded.

"I see."

"Anyway, they are both spending the weekend at Gabe's apartment and having fun without me," Haewon said with a mild scowl.
