David stirred, and we sat up straight.
Quite comical if you ask me.
But no one did.
"Where am I?" He tried to sit up when he saw me, but the chains held him to the bed. "What are you doing, Daniel? Where am I?"
"In your room?"
My heart was beating loudly. The thump, thump sound was scary, even to me as the owner.
And had it not been for one thing, I would have run out of the room.
Mother was sitting still, with her eyes daring me to run out of the room.
"So, why did you tie me up in my room?"
"I need you to listen to me."
"Listen to you?" He scoffed. "Like I would care about that."
He tugged on the chains, and I was afraid he might break them. However, the chains remained Strong.
Mother was right when she said the chains are strong enough to hold him down.
", Please. I only need you to listen to me. You might choose to forgive me after this, but I want you to listen—"
