"Hey I think i'll take this spell card and this trap card." 'I was almost drooling at the card I picked to trade with Bonz both Pot of Greed and Trap Hole being two very powerful cards early on and especially in the DM era where no one special summons.

"Are you sure you could get something better like a Blue Eyes White Dragon or even a-" I cut Bonz off "No its fine just give me these two and you'll get my dragon zombie." "FIne then" after agreeing with me he takes my dragon zombie while I get my hands on a Pot of Greed and Trap Hole.

'I take those two cards and start updating my deck by removing some bad ones and adding in some more powerful ones to my deck.'

'After updating my deck it's looking much better with usable cards and nice effects that will be needed if I'm going to go through with my plan to enter duelist kingdom. By getting into the top 4 of the regionals as Mako, Weevil and Rex were all in the top 4 and made it if I get to the top 4 I should also be invited to duelist kingdom.'

Domino City District 3 Tornument

I'm inside this small stadium nearly identical to the one shown in Bandit Keith's back story with multiple over people standing around waiting for the announcer, while I delve into my thoughts. 'I've checked the list of participates and Mako,Rex or Weevil aren't in this tournament although Bonz, Sid and Zygor are all in this tournament along with a man called Derrick Phoenix.The tournament is single elinmnation and to get a invite to nationals I need to get a top 4 finish in this tornument.'

"Are you all ready to rumble!" I get shaken out of my thoughts by a enthusiastic announcer that shouts out names and calls people to their positions.

"Riku Yulunger Go to station 13 with participant Ajax Black." As I walk to table 13 I see a decently handsome teen whose about my height with slicked back black hair and a nearly formal suit wearing a showman like grin.

"Good morning my good man how do you feel knowing that you are going to lose to the greatest duelist talent in the world." "I feel peachy now instead of bickering can we hurry up and play the game." The showmn smiles and sits down as I do the same "2x DUEL"

A coin is flipped where Ajax is said to go first."I draw then I'll start off with activating the spell card stray lambs to summon two lamb tokens to my side of the field Lamb Token 0 ATK 0 DEF (shorted to 0/0 from now on) and I will summon a monster face down.

"My turn I draw, I summon in attack mode Uraby then I will end my turn." "Alright then draw! I'll flip up my monster the Lancher Spider 2200 ATK/2500 DEF I will then summon Kojikocy 1500 ATK/ 1200 DEF in attack mode then lancher spider will destroy your Uraby."

Riku 2000---> 1300 LP

"My turn draw! I'll activate Pot of Greed to draw 2 more cards from my deck then I'll activate fissure to destroy your Kojikocy dealing you 750 life points. Ajax--->1250 LP Then I will normal summon Gradius 1200 ATK/800 DEF in Attack mode then I equip it with 2 7 Completed and another equip spell Stim Pack with the Gradius exclusive equip spell cyclon laser.

Ajax 1250 LP Lancher Spider 2200 ATK/2500 DEF

Riku 1300 LP Gradius 3600 ATK/800 DEF

"There is no way I lost you must be cheating, y-you stacked your deck, you added extra cards to your and you did something!" After I beat Ajax he started to go kinda crazy and he was carried out by security due to his less than stable behavior.

After waiting around 15 minutes a man in a dressed in referee attire comes up to me "Participant Riku make your way to station 6 with your opponent being Tommy Spindel" 'I'm surprised to hear that Tommy is also participating in the tournament but it makes sense as he wants to become the best in anything he does.'

'Tommy is a 14 year old boy slightly taller than Yugi at only 5'2 he lso has light brown hair that covers both of his eyes and he was the one who first loss to me when I joined my school and he kept challenging me throught the months. He reminds me of Joey if he was less annoying and he gives off little brother energy with him nearly always following me around and bickering with Joey whenever he gets the chance to.'
