II~On the Road Again~

An annoying beeping wakes me. I proceed to blindly slap at the alarm clock. Tossing off my blankets I swing my legs over the side of the bed. The feeling of the cold wood floor against my feet jars me awake. Skipping breakfast, as usual, I get into my black-cherry pickup and drive to school. Right now, because of my last assignment, I am in Tulsa, Oklahoma. I am supposed to be leaving tomorrow for my next assignment.

Plugging in my earphones music starts blaring. This is my last day at this school, tomorrow I leave and get to be that awkward new kid all over again. My one problem with this move is that I still don't know where I'm going. I walk into the class and quickly make my way to the back corner of the room.

The first half of the day drags on and on until, finally, lunch rolls around. I am just sitting down under a tree to relax before classes start again when my phone buzzes and a message appears on the screen.

Shaking my head I delete the message and leave the school, assuming headquarters has already called the office. Transylvania? Dracula's castle… sounds fun. I know that I own it, I mean it was my grandfather's, I just never thought I would be staying there. Vladimir Dracula, the first hemophage, was my grandfather. He had many wives and would go into hiding for years so people thought that he had died and had a male heir to carry on his lineage. He actually only had one daughter, my mother. I suppose that makes me like a quarter hemophage, I have some hemophage abilities but I am able to walk in the sun without any irritation or pain on my skin, my eyes are a little sensitive though, and I don't need blood to live.

At the moment I am in my truck with all my clothes and weapons packed on my way to the airport. I wrapped all of my weapons, which is a lot, in my clothes so that they don't clack together and cause more suspicion than there already will be as I walk through the airport. Walking through airport security I got stopped because the machine picked up on the weapons in my bags and on me. I pulled out my I.D, it gives me clearance anywhere I want and gets me out of situations like this. I get to the private jet and there are several men that take my bags and load them up for me. I walk into the comfortable cabin where I will be spending my flight. On a table I see the file that holds all the information I will need for the mission. I open it and look through the bolded text.

Mission: Find reason for the hemophage and magi gathering. Destroy the 'clan' and come home.

WereWolf Pack: BloodMoon

Alpha: Horatiu Machintosh

Age:17

Mate: Not yet found

Mother: Julia Machintosh

Father: Chirstopher Machintosh

Beta: Braford Chanler

Age: 17

Mate: Sarah James(Not yet fully mated)

The file goes on to list everything I should know about the pack, surrounding packs, and everything that I would need to know about the area. The BloodMoon pack is the most powerful and feared lycan pack, ever known. While training I learned everything there was to know about the BloodMoon pack simply because they piqued my curiosity. They always have their boundaries free of any danger, this being said I never thought that I would ever come in contact with them or their alpha.

When the plane lands I walk down the stairs, pleased to have my feet back on the ground. I am even more pleased to see my black motorcycle in the bed of my truck. Having both a motorcycle and truck has it's advantages, a truck I can use to break through blocks and a motorcycle I can use to lose a tail and get away quickly. Unfortunately I can't always tell when I will need one over the other so I've gotten good at using both for either task. My bags have already been loaded into the bed and I take off looking for the deli.

I find it and when I walk in I see a big muscled guy in jeans, a leather jacket, and dark shades, despite the fact that it is night and he is inside. He looks like the typical spy from the movies. A slight smile tugs at my lips at the sight of him. Shaking my head I walk closer, he turns his head and a huge smile spreads across his face when he spots me. Once I get within an arm's reach he pulls me into a tight embrace, "Hi Ivory, where have you been the past week? You didn't answer your phone and you weren't at school." Pulling away he scans my body for injuries and I have to hold back laughter, he's always like this when I go off on my own. He should honestly be used to it by now.

"Hello Steven, I was tracking the last person that I can find that helped destroy my family." Nodding he sits at a table in hopes that I may follow. This information shouldn't come as a surprise to him, I'm always off doing something of the sort.

"Please sit and I'll buy you some food." I take a seat across the table from him. Steven is the man that took me in after I was orphaned and Vladimir died, for real this time. Steven helped me train and he's like an overprotective brother to me, I mean in our line of work it's sometimes needed. After I caught Supernatural Headquarters' eye, after Vladimir died, they took me as an assassin and gave me to Steven to train.

"That isn't needed, I'll go grocery shopping tomorrow."

Sighing he nods and stands up. We walk out to my truck and he hands me the key to the castle, "This is the skeleton key, it will open the gate. Once inside you will find the other castle keys, keep them incase you loose this one."

I nod and we say our goodbyes before parting ways, him going to the jet to go back home, for us that would be the Amazon jungle; though he grew up in the states he came to the Amazon to train me so I didn't have to leave home, and me going to my family home for the first time in my life.

The castle has a lot of land with it, enough to hold an entire forest, the gates sit about ten miles away from Wallachia, also known in the supernatural world as Wolf's Bend. I finally get to the wrought iron gate that signifies the beginning of the castle's land, it seems that Wallachia is owned by my family as well. Beyond the fence the landscape looks dead, as if a fire swept through, that's when I remember my mother telling me about the great fire that destroyed the entire town but didn't touch the castle or forest behind it because of a protective spell that was placed around it centuries ago.

There's a long drive, about three miles long, leading to the top of a very large hill, atop the hill sits a gargantuan, gothic castle. Stepping out of the truck I stride to the gate, "My god it is gorgeous." As I stare in fascination at my family home I pick up the scent three different lycan watching me. I begin to walk around to the gate trying to determine their intentions from their scent and the feel of their gazes. I am not picking up anything that would show they have any inten against me. They aren't hostile so I have no reason to be threatened but I keep my guard up nonetheless. They are probably trying to determine if I am a threat so I rein in my power, keeping it from touching them, so I seem like a weak human.

Pushing open the gate I walk back to my truck and drive up to the castle. After driving through the open gates I push them shut before making my up the long, dark drive. As I get closer to the manor I begin to see just how detailed it is. Everything from snarling gargoyles above to supernatural battles carved into the stone of the walls. I walk up to the large oak doors only to stop when I see the large tree burned into it with the names of my family written elegantly. Some names were never supposed to be there and Grandfather would've thrown a fit had he known that the castle thought them family. The tree begins with Grandfather before branching out to the rest of the family… Mother is right next to Grandfather and my father was not anywhere to be found, just like Grandfather's wives.

Shaking the anger and the sorrow I feel while looking at this beautiful masterpiece I unlock the door, as I push open the doors I find that they are much heavier than I had anticipated. Once I have the doors open I set two of my bags in the entrance before going back to get the rest. Making several trips I finally get all of my bags in the castle. I hate having to act weaker than what I am. I am not sure just how close the lycan are so I couldn't just bring it all in in one trip like I had wanted. With a sigh I look around the entrance, no bothering to switch on the lights. I now have to find a bedroom and a washroom for the night, I will search through my new home tomorrow after school. Tomorrow is friday and I am to be the new student. With a single bag on my shoulder I turn down the hall to the right of the entrance to find doors lining both sides of the hall. Opening the first door I drop my back beside the bed before heading into the connecting wash closet. This is only a temporary room, I'll use it until I find a more suitable room for myself.
