While commoners suffer under Christos' tyranny, the king is faced with the tough decision of either fleeing with his vulnerable daughter or reclaiming his throne to save his people. Prologue

It was meant to be the Princess of Basilia's best day, as she celebrated her 18th birthday with her father and mother, whom she had lost contact with because of the tragedy that occurred during the time she was born.

A girl the same age as the Princess appeared out of nowhere, her white garments soaked in blood, looking so vicious with her intimidating stance. The girl approached the princess, intending to kill her.

The five knights charged toward the enraged girl and launched an attack. The girl dodges it, slicing the knights' heads with the sword owned by the knight guard whom she murdered earlier at the front door.

Aristocrats who were invited witnessed the terrifying sight. The princess' banquet devolves into turmoil and chaos. The nobility began hurrying outdoors, and the others were stunned.

She was indeed powerful.

When the girl, soaking from blood saw the princess run with two men assisting her Royal Highness, she started chasing them, but the king approached her to stop her. She ignored him and continued chasing the princess.

She doesn't want anything except the princess.

"N-No... No, this can't be," mumbled the girl, who had been so vicious earlier but was now baffled after stabbing the princess.

The memories of her old life flood her mind, causing her to stumble as she steps backward. She grabs her head, wanting the memories to stop as they keep appearing. She falls to one knee when she notices the princess looking at her on the verge of death. It was the person she pledged to protect.

I killed the girl I was hoping to protect.
