Crimson eyes

"Psst! Kasi," Adira whispered to her younger sister, who was already resting in bed.

"What?" Karasi murmurs, looking at her sister with a sense of wonder, thinking about what her older sister is up to in the middle of the night.

"Do you want to go outside?" Adira asked, still whispering to avoid waking up their sleeping father.

"Papa will be upset," Karasi whispered, turning her back to Adira. Not wanting to disappoint her father.

"Do you not want to see beyond outside the house?" Adira inquired, piquing Karasi's interest. Karasi looks back at her sister. Adira stood up from her bed and walked lightly towards Karasi.

"Papa will never know if we both hush our mouths," Adira remarked, attempting to persuade Karasi to venture outside.

She feels unhappy every time she goes out with their father, leaving Karasi alone in the house, knowing that her younger sister also wants to go outside.

"I know you want to see what's outside our house. This will be our little secret" she went on to say. Karasi cautiously rises from her bed and peeks at their sleeping father.

Adira held Kasi's hands, and when Kasi looked at her, she smiled. Knowing that Karasi will be joining her tonight. The two began to tiptoe quietly and successfully exited the house without awakening their father.

The two have quite distinct personalities; Adira, the oldest, is very adventurous and is normally an extrovert. While Karasi appears to be a rebellious child, she is the one who obeys their father.

"Where are we going?" asked Karasi, looking around the pathway.

"I discovered a place where we could go and stay," Adira exclaimed, still holding her sister's hand.

Adira is always leaving the house, exploring the town freely. She one day finds an abandoned cabin in the middle of the woods. Thinking about her sister, Karasi, who never left the house because their father wanted to protect her.

When she discovered the cabin in the woods, she began to clean it and planned to use it as a place for her and her sister to go when they were bored. Because she understands how remote this location is.

"It's so pretty," Karasi muttered, watching all the lanterns glow and brighten the night. Adira looks at her sister, who appears fascinated at what she is witnessing.

"Right!" Adira exclaimed, satisfied. She was glad to see her sister enjoying their stroll.

The two are busy gazing around. Karasi accidentally bumps into someone in an area where no one is around. A tall man with black clothes with a hood. The two girls looked at him cautiously, and Adira, the oldest, began to apologize as the man looked at them.

Adira grabbed her sister's hand tightly, looking terrified. Karasi looked at her in confusion and pain.

The man kneels in front of them, causing Karasi to gaze at him. Karasi was mesmerized by the man's dark hair and his crimson eyes.

The man slowly reached for Karasi's hair, prompting Adira to pull her sister away from him.

"Your hair is lovely," replied the man sternly. He then began observing Karasi from head to toe. "Hmm," he said, examining the girl.

"I apologize for bumping into you," murmured Adira, pale and anxious. She immediately grabbed her sister's hand and began to flee from the man.

Adira walks as fast as she can while grasping Karasi, leaving the man who is watching them go.

Their journey to the cabin was cut short after they encountered the man, and they began heading back home.

"Do you know him?" inquired Karasi.

"No" answered Adira, who still looked scared. She doesn't know who the man is, but his presence makes her tremble and uneasy.

"Are we not going to the place?" Karasi asked, referring to the location Adira had discovered.

"Let's just go tomorrow, okay?" She swiftly glanced at Karasi and smiled, but the nervousness was still there on her face.

Hmm, three auras. Interesting

The morning had arrived. Alaric awoke to the sight of his two daughters soundly asleep. He cleans himself and prepares to travel to town for work. Before leaving, he kisses his daughter's forehead.

He walks out, pleased. He felt glad to see both of his daughters sleeping peacefully and safe.

The fresh morning air, along with the sounds of a chirping bird. The sun was still up when the two sisters arose from sleep. Karasi is sitting on their house porch, observing her older sister, Adira, who is busy watering the plants. She was staring at her, eager to ask a question.

After watering their plants, Adira smiles and looks in the direction of her sister. She looked at her, puzzled, as she noticed her younger sister was staring at her.

"Uhm," Karasi got up from her seat and walked towards her sister. Adira looked at her and smiled, waiting for her to say something.

"Are we going later?" she wondered, hoping and longing to go to the cabin her sister had said. Adira looked at her with uncertainty. She was concerned that they might run into the crimson-eyed man.

"I-I want to go," Karasi stammered, pouting as she saw her sister's expression. She wants to go.

Her sister expressed an interest in visiting the aforementioned cabin. Adira let out a sigh and replied yes. She can't bear seeing her sister sad.

"We'll go when Papa is asleep," she said, leaning in to whisper. Making them both grin.

"Just don't bump into anyone else, okay?" urging her not to do it again because it's dangerous. Karasi smiled and nodded in response. She was looking forward to seeing the cabin and strolling around.

"Who's bumping into someone?" Alaric stepped unexpectedly from behind them. Adira looked back hesitantly when she heard her father's voice.

"P-Papa," she replied uncomfortably, smiling awkwardly. Alaric crossed his arms and looked at them suspiciously.

"It's Mae! S-She ran into someone! It's so funny!" she exclaimed, laughing nervously, as Karasi looked at them unconcernedly.

Alaric said "Hmm" as he strolled into their modest yard, still dubious.

"Don't do anything that could endanger you," he said, pinching both of his daughter's cheeks teasingly. As the two blurted "Ouch," Alaric fled, smirking as his two daughters chased him.

The three continue running in and out of their home. Sharing Laughs.
