The Saiyan Saga 10

Strictly speaking, it didn't take me long at all to find Princess Snake's castle. I mean, it was literally right along the path of Snake Way.

A few minutes of flying at max speed and I found it easily, just sitting there floating right beside the pathway leading between King Kai's planet and the check out station.

Dropping out of the air, I landed in front of the massive castles front doors and knocked, hard.

Sure, it may have sounded like a couple of cannons going off, but hey, gotta make sure they hear me in such a big ass place.

Less than a minute later, the doors swung open and standing behind them was a pretty blue skinned brunette, "Hello, how can I help you?" she greeted me calmly.

"I'm here to see Princess Snake." I replied simply.

She grimaced lightly, it was only there for an instant, but I caught it, "…I'm sorry but Princess Snake isn't taking any visitors right now, I can try and make you an appointment if you'd like?" she replied, "She is very…busy you see."

Hmm, you know something odd? I can't sense this chicks power, at all. Interesting.

If I can't sense her power while she's right in front of me, well, wouldn't it make sense for someone who escaped hell and can't be sensed, to be here where this kind of thing goes down?

"Good for her," I shrugged and walked inside ignoring her as he tried to block me, "Oh?" my eyebrows rose as I continued my way inside, ignoring the brunette now trying and failing to push me back and getting carried along by my chest.

As soon as I stepped over the threshold, I could suddenly sense this girl. And four others who felt just like her.

And another ki, stronger than all the other ones, yet vastly weaker than my own that stood out from them all.

Skipping out of hell for some ginger booty huh? Well, I can't blame him. Though, if I was going after a ginger, I'd just let out Bojack and his crew and kill them except for Zangya.

I followed my way towards the power I sensed, through the wide sweeping corridors of the castle, ignoring the brunette trying to stop me all along the way.

And surprise, surprise. I found myself in a massive dining hall, my eyes landing on two figures, both sitting together at the edge of a long, long ass table.

A curvy blue skinned ginger lady leaning on the table, sighing lovingly at the large, muscular extremely long haired man stuffing his face at a rapid pace.

"Hello, brother." I greeted with a smirk, squashing the happiness I felt surging up.

They both jumped at my sudden voice, Raditz almost choking on the food.

"Goku!?" Princess Snake gaped at me.

"K-Kakarot!?" Raditz spluttered, mouth hanging low.

"Ding, ding, ding, correct on the second try," I replied making my way over, "How you doing brother?"

"I'm sorry my lady, he refused to stop and barged his way in and I could not stop him!" the brunette bowed deeply and apologised.

Princess Snake waved her off, while Raditz growled at me, "So did they send you looking for me then Kakarot?" he sneered, lifting his hand, crimson red ki forming into into a sphere, "I won't be going back to hell little brother, and I'm far stronger than when we last met!"

"Zat so?" I raised a brow. Honestly, he was so weak I couldn't tell the difference. I used my scouter and scanned his power;

2,417.

Huh, he had gotten stronger. Odd though, I thought those bound for hell couldn't get stronger in the after life? Or was it because he escaped out of hell he got rid of that problem?

"Not bad," I praised him lightly, not great mind you, but the fact he got stronger at all is good I guess, "Though, do calm down Raditz, I'm not the same brother you faced before, can't you tell?"

Raditz grimaced, looking me over, but not lowering his glowing ki engulfed hand, "…You do look different, you're shorter, but much bulkier and your skin is much less pale, you look quite like father now actually." he nodded grudgingly.

"I'm the true Kakarot, one who remembers our roots as a saiyan, just in a different body from that other fool, Goku." I helpfully supplied.

Raditz' face scrunched up in confusion, "…What nonsense are you blabbering about?" he grunted, before shaking his head, "Whatever, I don't care. State your business little brother, why have you come looking for me if not to drag me back to hell?"

"I came to check up on my older brother, nothing more, nothing less," I replied, not really the warm, touchy feeling atmosphere I might have liked, but this is expected, "I found out where mother and father are by the way, they're both in heaven if you can believe it."

Raditz snorted, "Mother in heaven, I can believe, but that hard ass father? He has killed even more than me, there's no way."

"Believe it if you will or not," I shrugged, "I was just coming to make sure you were doing okay and if you were in hell, I was going to wish you back to life with the dragon balls."

Raditz gave me an odd look, "….Is that so?" he murmured lightly, before sighing and suddenly slumping into his seat, "I thank you for the offer then brother, but I'm afraid I'll have to decline."

"Really?" My eyes rose in surprise.

"Go back to what? A world without our race? Our parents dead? The only others of our race that buffoon Nappa and asshole Vegeta?" he shook his head, "No, I'm happier here now, happier than I've been in a long term." he flashed a quick smile at Princess Snake, and she gently grasped his hand as they stared into each others eyes.

…Well okay then. Now I totally feel like a third wheel.

"Fair enough brother," I chuckled lightly, "But, let me leave you with a gift at least."

"There's no need Kakarot, I have all I need here." Raditz waved me off.

"It'll make me feel better at least." I replied, and before he could say anything, I opened up a portal and dropped a deluge of fruit of might on the table, thirty of them in total, "Eating just one of these fruit will raise your battle power by twenty thousand, more than Vegeta has, there's thirty in total, you can do what you want with them."

Raditz gaped at the fruits for a moment, before shaking his head and calming down, "…I would have called bullshit on such a thing just mere months ago," he sighed, "Perhaps I'll pay a visit to hell one day a year or two from now? If you so casually can drop thirty of these out for me, I can only imagine the strength you have now."

"Frieza has a battle power of one hundred and twenty million and it's trash compared to me." I helpfully supplied.

That did it, Raditz burst out into laughter and separated from his love, making his way over to me, laughing all the way, "Then I can rest easy then, knowing that the legacy of we saiyans is safe in your hands brother." he stopped laughing as he reached me and held his hand out for me to take.

I did and we clasped hands, tightening our grips, "I suppose this is goodbye for good then brother." I mused.

"Possibly, but our paths split long ago little brother, you have your own story to go through, I've done a lot of thinking the past few months, and this meeting has put everything into perspective," Raditz smiled at me, a true genuine smile that he seemed to have only reserved for Princess Snake, "We saiyans have failed, but not you Kakarot, not even the sky is the limit for you it seems, I'll be keeping an ear out to hear of the legends told of you in the future, the legendary super saiyan."

My brows furrowed, "…How did you know I'm a super saiyan?" I asked, confused.

"I just had a feeling," Raditz chuckled, "Seeing you, the spitting image of father, sauntering around the afterlife as if you own it, so casually saying that monster Frieza is trash before you and not merely bluffing like Vegeta. Truly, if anyone could become the legendary super saiyan, it would be a son of Bardock and my brother!"

The beaming pride he shot at me actually hurt me a little.

Raditz nodded at me once more, let go of my hand and clapped me on the shoulder. And nothing else needed to be said.

I nodded back in understanding, and turned around and walked away, "Sorry for the bother." I apologised to the brunette and left the castle behind.

The castle doors slammed shut behind me as I left and I stopped to stare up at the golden sky of otherworld, "…How ironic that Raditz is the content one." I sighed wistfully.

He had basically what I wanted, but couldn't let myself enjoy right now. But soon days, that I vowed.

But to do that, I need to get around my own hang ups. And the first step on that journey, is fixing my control issues.

And there's only two people in this universe that can help me with that right now. One really, since the other can't access his true power.

I touched two fingers to my forehead and I focused, spreading my senses out across the very expense of Universe 7 itself.

This would have been impossible to do just a few hours ago. I knew how to sense god ki thanks to the knowledge I got from Piccolo and Kami, but I lacked the 'fuel' to trigger that ability.

Now, lacking in amount as it was, I had said 'fuel'.
