Entirely Different (Ch.164)

"You are being too loud, Jalan." Andronika's quiet grumble startled Jalan from his thoughts.

Jalan's eyes widened and he stared at Andronika in surprise, he had not expected she would regain consciousness anytime soon based off of the word that had gotten to him of Andronika's severe condition.

And seeing for himself, Andronika did look much worse than he had expected, it should have taken much longer to regain consciousness.

"Are you awake?" Jalan asked quietly, to make certain that he had not misheard.

"I have you to thank for that." Andronika muttered in response.

She groaned quietly as her eyes came open and she tilted her head to fix Jalan with a blank stare.

Her eyes were heavy and revealed her exhaustion, but she was very much conscious.
