Young-Jae sniffled and wiped his tears. His nose was running now. His eyes were red and swollen because of crying. With a sad voice, he said, "I am sorry I was not able to save your mother from falling from the stairs. All I could do was help her with her medicine. I wanted to help her but the past would flash across my eyes. I had no beef with your mother but I could not accept her as my daughter-in-law. I am sorry about that.
"And then you came back from India. I was so happy but as usual, we started fighting. I wanted you to rest as I knew you made so many dresses in a week and people don't sleep well on flights but you thought I didn't want you to come so you emphasised on coming with us. Trust me, I just wanted you to get rid of tiredness, I could see those tired eyes but everyone was against me and you came with us.
