Moon lilly

Moonlight roared like I had never heard him roar. He whipped his tail and the the guards fell over, the few that there where. I run away from the guards. They yell as they begin to get up. I run towards Moonlight. The king jumps off his chair. He gets to me before I get to Moonlight. He pulls a sword from his belt. I am momentarily stunned. I pull a knife from my back pocket, a spare for when I really need it. He slashes the sword toward me. I nearly get cut in two. I gasp. Moonlight grabs him. He growls in his face. Then throws him away. I run up Moonlight with major difficulties. I keep slipping on his scales. I struggle more. I grab the saddle and heave myself up.

" RUN!!!" I scream as Moonlight begins to crash out of the throne room. I heave the Sleeping supplies, food and other things up with me. He crashes thru the wall. Bricks litter the saddle. One hits my knee. I yell in pain. Moonlight replies from the mind link that he is sorry. He runs. He calls something out in dragon tongue. He begins to break a window. He fly's out of the window howling in pain as some peaces of glass cut his soft scales. I gasp as we fly above the castle behind it. There is a new building. It is huge. Smaller than the castle so it was hidden. He swoops down.

" What is this. " I yell.

" They are keeping some young dragons in here. " He replies quickly. I climb off his as soon as we land. I grab the door and swing it open. Looking around I see at least ten dead body's. Not human, dragon. They are covered in so many whip marks they died. I yell inwardly in pain and surprise.

I run down a hall way as Moonlight feeds me directions to some hurt baby's. I find them. There are three Moon Lilly dragons and a couple of Deep Sand dragons. One White Orchid dragon. There are six all together. I grab them. I think Moonlight called out to them that I am a safe human. Once I have them I run away.

I burst out side. Moonlight grabs three of the baby's and pits them on his neck. I climb up Moonlight with the others much easier than last time. I set then down on the saddle and help the other dragons on the saddle. Moonlights flaps his wings many times and takes off. I sigh in relief. I turn to look at the baby's. They seem to be a little scared now that they really see me. I grab my bag. I pull out some fish I had from yesterday and some pears for Moonlight and offer them the food.

The bravest one is one of the Moonlight Lilly dragons he snatched a pear and eats it. One of the Deep Sands takes a fish. The White Orchid dragon carefully takes a fish. Soon all of the dragons are peacefully eating food. We soar high above the clouds. I cough a little .

" Don't do down. We need cover. " I tell Moonlight. It's true. After what happened I would not be surprised if they came and killed us. Moonlight agrees.

" I got it. By the way you should do a half bond with the others. " He says. I nod.

A half bond is when you never make a full bond only half.  You can talk but your trust is obviously shaky. I could never ride the dragons sitting with me. They will probably leave when they turn a year old. They look about seven months. I offer the half bond.

The White Orchid dragon agrees. She Stretch's out a talon. She has only front legs. And long beautiful wings. She has a little ears on her head. I shake her talon, well kinda. We just touch each other and she steps back. I do this with the rest.

" I am Orchid. " The White Orchid dragon says. She smiles a little at me.

" I'm Sand Dollar. Thanks for saving us. " A Deep Sand dragon says.

" I am Hermit. " The other Deep Sand dragon burst before I can say anything.

" I am Moon, this is Star and this is Galaxy. We are all related. " Moon says. He points to his sibling. Star is the biggest and Galaxy is the smallest.

" Well your welcome. I can't believe what they did to that place. I am so sorry I could not have saved you sooner. " I say.

" Where you planning on saving us? " Galaxy  asks. They all nodded.

" Well no. But I wish that never happened to you. " I explain. I hear Moonlight chuckle.

" Why do you like dragons?" Hermit asks.

" Yeah! All the humans back there hate us. Dragons that is. " Orchid says.

" Well when I was younger every one loves dragons. They took great care of them. "I explained. Back then when these dragons should have been born. Or the war should have not been born.

" Really. Sounds great. " Sand Dollar says. Hermit nods violently.

" Oh,  well where were going is like that. " I say. They baby's look around excitedly.

" Where is that!" Moon demands early.

" Well, very far away. From right here probably a two day flight. We got a late start. "I explain to the pricked listening ears.

" Awesome. "Galaxy says. I smile at him.

" You good Moonlight. " I ask through our mind link.

" I can go for a few hours then we are stopping so I can break. We will hide somewhere to sleep. " He replies. I nod.

" Let me bandage you guys up. " I say and grab the bandage I have. They all have a few whip marks.

Once I have bandaged them all up I pull out my sleeping bag.

" You can sleep on here. " I say and lean back. They all cuddle up and sleep. I even drift off for a while.

My dreams are filled with people climbing up mountains and being chased. It's because of my paranoid mind. I wake up to the sunset.  Beautiful and bold. I tell Moonlight we can land when ever.

" I have a good air flow right now. I can go for a few more hours. " He says with a little skip in his voice. Silly kid. He loves flying just like I do.
