'currently Me, Master and Raphtalia are walking to the Dragons hourglass, im still in spirit form as I don't want to be out in the open after what I did to the "Bitch" '
Master takes a bit of the sand within the hourglass and a blue screen appears in front of all of us

this takes master by surprise
"!? Fourty-five DAYS and Fourteen hours until the next wave ?! That's more than a MONTH !!" (Master)
*snicker*
Im trying my hardest to keep myself from laughing because his face is just priceless, but before I start laughing Artorias personality seems to help me get control of it.
"What should we do until then ?" (Raphtalia)
she says this while still holding "Filo's" egg, I really hope she likes me when she is born.
"why don't we upgrade your weapons, Raphtalia ?" (Master)
"Master Naofumi, don't you think you're going through your funds a bit too quickly ? My current equipment is fine. Spending that much money is just asking for trouble, isn't It ?" (Raphtalia)
"Well I guess your okay then, lets go to a couple shops anyway we could find some items we might need." (Master)

the bell that welcomes us into the shop Is hit by the door as it swings back to its original position
"Welcome." (Pharmacist)
"Would you buy this medicine from me ?" (Master)
Master says this while he and Raphtalia walk up to the shopkeeper while I stay at the door keeping guard in case anything happens, its unlikely but I have to edge on the side of caution.
"Very well." (Pharmacist)
"I think you should hold on to the medicine for a little longer..." (Raphtalia)
'I have to agree with Raphtalia here, master. You never know when it could be useful.'
I make sure that master can hear it through our mana connection.
"Well I made a lot when I was preparing for the wave. There shouldn't be any problem with selling them before they go bad" (Master)
As Master says this he hands over the medicines and receives some money for them from the pharmacist, but as they turn and begin to leave the Pharmacist stops them before they get to me.
"Ah, just a minute, You're the shield hero, aren't you ?" (Pharmacist)
This gets Masters attention with him slightly turning his head, to see what the Pharmacist wants. The Pharmacist places a book on the counter top.
"Take this." (Pharmacist)
"...Huh ? What's that for ?" (Master)
"It's a recipe book for medium-level medicines." (Pharmacist)
"No, that's not what I meant... why are you giving it to me ?" (Master)
"Well..." (Pharmacist)
He takes a blow of his pipe and exhales the smoke
"You saved a relative of mine in Rivut village. Consider this my thanks. I was asked to help you if you happened to come by here . . . Oh and a blonde girl was mentioned along with this girl besides you now, if you see her please do convey my thanks towards her as well." (Pharmacist)
'Ah so I was mentioned, it feels nice to be appreciated like this . . . I cannot lie.'
While still Spiritualized I uncharacteristically smirked slightly
"It's second-hand, so you can have it for free. " (Pharmacist)
"Wow ! Thank you so much !! Isn't that great, Master Naofumi ?!" (Raphtalia)
"...ye-yeah..." (Master)
"Well ? It should be helpful to you now, right ?" (Pharmacist)
"Y... yeah." (Master)
'Is he... being sarcastic? Why would that b- ooohhhh he can't read ! Hehe *snicker* this is bad I've been laughing at Master to much lately *snicker* but there is no *snicker* helping it, he's just so funny to observe.'
"Ah yes, the magic shop owner told me she wanted to thank you as well." (Pharmacist)
"Magic shop? What's a magic shop ?" (Master)
"If you don't know, you'll find out soon enough" (Pharmacist)
"Sure... let's get going Raphtalia, you too Saber." (Master)
As we begin to leave I hear the Pharmacist mutter
"Saber ? There was only two ? Maybe I just heard something" (Pharmacist)
"Do you know where the magic shop is Master Naofumi ?" (Raphtalia)
"No, Raphtalia. I have no idea." (Master)
"Master, I may know where it is."
"Oh Saber, how would you know where it is ?" (Master)
"I'm quite... observant"
"Okay? Tell us the direction then." (Master)
"First you will have to -"

"My, my ! So you are the shield hero! It seems our staff owe you a great debt. . ." (Old lady)
As we walk in we're greeted by a sweet looking old lady wearing Witches hat and a black robe, what else do I have to say she looks like the stereotypical sweet old grandma.
She grabs Masters hand and drags him over to a desk with 1 chair and a crystal ball.
I casually parouse the shelfs with different books and weird items with a varying magical signature
"Now please, sir, sir !!" (Old lady)
As she says this she releases Masters hand and sits down behind the crystal ball, she begins to channel magical energy into it which catches my attention so I walk over to them and stand beside the table still Spiritualized.
"My, my ! It seems you have a natural talent for recovery and protection magic ! Ah and you also have a small aptitude for Wind magic !" (Old lady)
"O..okay." (Master)
"Now you miss, let's see.... oh ! Light and dark magic seem to be your talents... how about you ?" (Old lady)
'Huh ? She can.. see me ? Dang. She must be a good mage to be able to see me while I'm Spiritualized'
"You... can see her ?" (Master)
As he's saying this I begin to materialise still in my position beside the table.
"I couldn't exactly see her but I could sense another magical signature in the room" (Old lady)
"Colour me surprised. You must be a powerful mage to sense a servant while Spiritualized."
"Oh ! You're a legendary Servant ! How wonderful, for me to be able to meet not just one of the cardinal heros but also a Servant !... *cough* sorry about my outburst, its not everyday you meet the stuff of legends. Now back to the main topic let's soo your magical aptiude. Let's see... oh you have an excellent attribute for Wind and Water magic." (Old lady)
'This feels nostalgic in someways. . . Ah that's why, the last magic caster I've been in contact with was Merlin.'
"Ah It seems in my excitement I forgot..." (Old lady)
She ducks under her desk and picks up a stack of books, as she's dropping them on the desk I sense a concentrated amount of magic energy in it
"... these are grimoires are all novice level but they're packed with lots of spells ! Please, take them ! Grimoires are imposing, but with serious effort, you should be able to learn suitable magic from them. I would really love to teach you myself, but I assume you will have to leave town sooner or later." (Old lady)
Master picks up one of the grimoires and smiles slightly
"Yeah, that's right ... you have my thanks." (Master)
With that Master picks up the Grimoires I spiritualize myself, and we begin to walkout
"Make sure to come back here sometime you three !" (Old lady)

(Time Skip (2 days))
Over the past two days we have been killing monsters and helping villagers during the day and at night Master would be taught how to read by Raphtalia, I'm glad I don't have to learn how to read as I already knew the language both spoken and written as soon as I was summoned.
Currently Master and Raphtalia is sleeping while I'm meditating on the floor until I hear something I have been anticipating for what feels like years
*crack*
With that I open my eyes and stand up, I now see Raphtalia waking up and ruching to Masters side trying to wake him up
*crack * *crack*
"Master Naofumi *shake* Master Naofumi!!" (Raphtalia)
Master groggily gets up
"Hn.... what ?" (Master)
*crack* *crack*
Raphtalia points at the egg while her eyes were filled with anticipation, I shan't lie my eyes were sparkling a bit
"Master Naofumi, look at the egg ! It's.... It's Hatching !!
*crack* *crack* *crack*
P.s if you haven't looked at my other fanfiction you wouldn't of known where I have been, I have had an eye infection as of now I'm 100% a-okay ! So as to make it up this chapter is 1350 words. Hope you enjoyed ❤ ~
