Gotham the Dragon King Returns

Opening my eyes I was started and immediately reached for my little brother and phew he was there and still in great shape. Immediately I was in a much better mood, after all family is something important to every Dominic. I was in my room on Titan tower which only had 3 inhabitants currently not including Bumblebee. Getting up out of bed, i checked my clock and it was 11 o clock. Guess that makes me a late riser, throwing that thought out of my head i end up moving to the connected bathroom and brushed my teeth. Its been about 7 months since Jade went back to Gotham and I came to skull island. I've known Kori for almost half a year now and we can be called friends. As for the other guy living here well...

Crash

That was probably him now. With a heavy sigh in my mouth I walked to the fire pole. In the center of the building is one long pole dropping through every floor and as long as you believe in your reflexes this pole can be taken to any floor downwards. I slipped all the way down to the lower kitchens and immediately smelt the war going on. With a quite graceful leap I landed on the floor and headed without stopping after all I don't hurry

"AAAAAAAAAAAAH"

"Sigh, these two idiots are gonna burn down my tower. I swear I gotta put an end to this or at least find other inhabitants to balance them out."

Taking a step into the kitchen ignoring the chaos that they will clean and commit some time next week, I looked straight at the tamaranian who came here with her flora colossus.

"What did I tell you two."

"...not to mess around in your kitchens."

"I am groot."

"YOU WERE THE ONE WHO TURNED ON THE STOVE!"

"I am groot!"

"Your fault!"

"ENOUGH ALREADY! I'm hitting the gym for a workout you guys clean this up. Then Groot it's time for you to start rearranging all of the sentient flora on the island, Kori don't forget we're headed to Gotham later so this has to be done before then."

"OH JOY! While I love the tower I have been longing to see the city, I'm sure it is as Wonderful and magnificent as you say."

"When did I call Gotham wonderful or magnificent?" I wanted to reason with her but she was clearly already in her own Lala land. Oh well. Ignoring the citrus cutie I made my way to the gym for my morning workouts. Not traditional ones either. Of course I had the standard superhuman strength speed senses and perception, flight, and invulnerability however it's not like krptonian overpowered as all of my stats go up all around as I age more similar to a viltrumite. However unlike Viltrumites I also seem to be able to create, manipulate and project energy and I feel like that's not the extent of what I can do yet but I'm still growing up. At 19 and 6'4 I'm the dictionary definition of Adonis. Of course I keep it all simple, I keep my hair cut short for combat while I don't know why I did but I had my last name tattooed across my back. Anyways enough gawking at me doing my energy manipulate to balance a ton block using only a bit of energy projected above my finger while keeping it from falling while dodging rubber bullets being fired around me to train my perception. I only continued this for about 15 minutes before switching courses. I try to use all of my known abilities daily in my workouts in order to deepen my understanding of their limits for example while I'm fast, I'm nowhere near speedster fast. Hell I still can't break Mach 1 running and Mach 3 flying but I am improving. My morning routine lasted about an hour 15 before calling it quits. I could've ended it earlier but knowing after leaving today it's impossible for me to be so diligent again I took advantage to really sweat a bit.

After taking a quick shower I met back up with Kori in a purple sweater and a short white skirt with long black thigh high boots . "I am ready for the city, Adam! We are meeting your other friends correct? And your school? Should I worry about my skin?"

Under her inquiring gaze I stepped forward and passed her a bracelet. I had several made for future purposes. And as soon as she took it on It casted a projection over her skin making the orange look more lightskin black Asian instead. She was very curious about it for all of five seconds before pushing me to the garage. If it were an ordinary car it would be impossible to get to Gotham from skull island even though it's only a few hours away. After all, ocean. But luckily we had a friend.

"BUMBLEBEE LETS GO FOR A RIDE!"

The massive autobot flinched from his car parts magazine he hastily threw behind his back before nodding "Sure I'll be right there!"

Kori seemed not to understand my bee friend so I wont point it out either. So I dragged Kori and led her to the beach and a minute later a yellow Camero came driving across the water and stopping right in front of them.

The two got into the car and happily chatted as they arrived into the city. Normally we'd be spotted but I have my own underwater access in my manor so we just came to the manor that way before leaving through the gates in a Normal way. Driving such a car in Gotham, very few who aren't the Batman dare to do it so naturally I attracted a bunch of eyes. But no one made any attempts in broad daylight after all the Batman ain't a myth anymore.

We drove slow so Kori could take in the sights before coming up to Gotham Academy. The students were just getting out of school and I couldn't help but notice two kids in the crowd. One a little shorter, probably a freshman, in dark shades that practically blocked his eyes looking completely whelmed. The other on the other hand....

Heòoonk "ARTEMIS!!!"

Seeing the cool car pull up Artemis naturally aroused the envy of the girls around her. But she didn't care after all the experience is there. She moved to the car and sat in the back seat almost immediately after confirming it was indeed Adam. She was about to ask him something important but just then she heard a loud explosion from rhe Gotham Bridge.

Turning her head she could see the smoke and was about to remind the idiot at the wheel to evacuate when she realized he wasn't driving!

"Today is the day!"

"WHAT? WHAT DAY? ARE YOU CRAZY? WE'RE GOING TO END UP GETTING STRANDED IN GOTHAM CHAOS."

"I know. It's a perfect Alibi."

"For what?" Being the daughter of a master criminal was enough but if this guy was like that too then she would have a headache.

"Don't worry it's perfectly safe. Don't worry nothing you would be ashamed of. Anyways let's go meet your sister.
