Chapter 2: Giant Humanoid

A bright light came from a window and hit Akira on his face. The boy slowly opened his eyes as he said to himself, "Where am I this time?"

He turned his left and saw Mikasa sleeping beside him. Then he heard a door open, and then he saw Mikasa's mother, Shira, with tears in her eyes. She had black hair like Mikasa's grey eyes and slightly lighter skin than Mikasa's, but he could see Mikasa was almost a copy of her.

Shira covered her mouth while walking toward Akira as she said, "Oh... thank god! you awake!" She gives him a hug that makes him yelp in pain that makes her notice it. Shira quickly released her hug and apologised, "Oh, I'm sorry..."

Akira looked at her as he waved his hand to make sure it was fine. She didn't mean to hurt him, and he asked, "Where? Am I?"

Then they heard a footstep walk toward them. 

"You at my house." Akira looked at the long brown hair, glasses middle-aged man with a smile on the man's face and confusion from Akira.

The man smiled as he said, "Oh, pardon me, my name is Grisha Yeager. You might not know me, but I have known you for five years now."

Akira tilted his head to the side as he let out a question, "Huh?"

Shira giggles when she sees Akira's response as she explains, "He is the doctor who helped you when you were in a coma for five years after we found you."

Akira got more confused, and he asked again, "Doctor? What is Doctor?"

Shira and Grisha sweet drop at this, as Mikasa's mother explains once again, "Oh... A doctor is a person who's an expert on medicine and treatment, and he is the one who treats your wound."

Akira looks at her and gives an O mouth, "Oh..." In a split second, he remembers what happened what happens before he passes out. Akira mutters, "I'm sorry..."

The older didn't hear what he said. Shira asks him, "Huh? Have you said something?"

Akira sighed as he said once again, "I'm sorry that I can't save your husband... after I get on my feet... I'll take my leave."

Shira shook her head as she said, "No! You won't!"

Mikasa woke up from the noise that came from her surroundings and saw her saviour awake.

Shira is in tears as she continues, "Maybe you can't save him, but... you save us, and I can't thank you enough for that..."

Mikasa slowly rises up from his bed while rubbing her eyes, and she asks, "You want to leave us again?"

"I-I..." Akira was at a loss for words as he didn't know what to say to Mikasa; suddenly, he felt a hug that came from Mikasa, making him gasp in pain.

Mikasa hugged him tighter as she begged, "Please... Don't go..."

"But..." Akira is still at a loss for words.

Mikasa's tears fall to her face. "Please..."

Akira felt another hug, making him flinch from the pain. He saw Shira hug him, too, which shocked him more. Akira had tears in his eyes as he thought, 'Why... These two didn't want to get rid of me... Why...'

Shira gave a sad smile as she said, "You might have had a rough childhood... But I promise you, and we will not treat you like the others in your past."

Grisha was also smiling, and he said, "She's right, kid. You are in good hands now."

Akira can't keep his tears any longer. He begins to cry. He thought there were no more kind people in this world after his mother, but now he guessed he had found them again, the kind persons his mother told him about.

Mikasa and her mother comfort the boy. After 10 minutes of crying, Grisha had to ask the boy's origin. 

Akira told him that he was kidnapped when he was at age three and was abused day and night. He said he saw one by one of his friends die from the torture. They were shocked, and he explained the scar on Akira's body to them.

Grisha asks him where he came from, and Akira tells him he is from the Nakamura clan and lives in Akuma village. The man doesn't know that place as he asks. "I'm sorry, but I didn't recognise or know where Akuma village is. Is that from Sina?

The boy looks at him with confusion and replies, "No..."

Shira smiled and was a bit sad about what had happened to Akira, but now he was safe as she said, "It doesn't matter where you came from... you were safe now,"

Mikasa got curious as she held Akira's hair. "I want to know how you get that hair colour?"

Akira looks at Mikasa while holding his long hair. "What this? I got it from my mom..." He looks at everyone as he continues. "You guys never saw this hair colour before? Seriously?" He receives a nod from the others.

Grisha nodded, "Yes, we don't. It's pretty uncommon for someone with light blue hair."

Then they heard footsteps coming from the door. She is a woman with long black hair and brown eyes.

The woman looked at the other as she said, "Oh, I'm sorry to Interrupt... But breakfast is ready..."

Grisha smiles as he introduces her to Akira, "Oh, Akira, I want you to meet My wife, Carla."

Carla gives a smile to Akira as she asks. "Nice to meet you, Akira. Was it?"

Akira nodded, but he didn't reply.

Grisha was looking for someone as he asked his wife, "Where, Eren?"

Carla raised her eyebrows as she called, "Oh, wait... Eren! Can you come here, please!"

After a minute, a small 'boy' walks toward Carla. Akira sees almost a copy of Carla with that facial structure and something odd about this 'boy' because it's too feminine to be a boy, but he will think about it later. And for the most part, he looks like Asuka in the male version of her.

The 'boy' growls, "Mom, let's go eat. I'm hungry!"

Carla sigh as she says, "We will, but first..." Her husband's words are cutting her.

"First, Eren, meet our guests, Akira. This is Eren." Grisha introduce his 'Son' to Akira

Akira gave the nod, and Eren gave Akira a shocked face.

Eren is amazed by Akira's hair colour as she says, "Wow, I didn't notice your hair colour yesterday..."

Shira put her hand under her chin in a thinking pose, "Maybe you didn't notice because he was covered in blood last night."

Carla nodded as she said, "We can continue our chat later. Let's get breakfast first."

Shira nodded back, turned toward her daughter and said, "Mikasa, can you stay here with Akira? I will get you two breakfast, okay?"

Akira looked at the back-haired girl and petted the girl while saying, "Don't worry about me, Mikasa. Go follow your mother if you want,"

Mikasa shakes her head, "No, I'll stay here with you." She said while holding Akira's arm. The light blue hair sighs in defeat as Mikasa smiles at him. 

Shira smiled at the two as she said, "Stay here. I will get some food." She walks out of the room.

Mikasa looks at her mom, and then she remembers something, and she calls the light blue-haired boy the name "Akira..."

Akira's attention was back to Mikasa as he asked, "Huh? What is it?"

Mikasa suddenly couches down as she tries to pick something under the bed and pulls out a familiar blue scarf for Akira. She gives it to him. "Here..."

Akira's eyes were wide in shock. He thought the scarf was destroyed when he fought Traros, but it's not, and it's still in the condition he last saw it. "Is that... my scarf?"

Mikasa nodded with a smile as she replied, "Yes... It came with you when we found you years ago... It's in a rough condition, but my mother takes care of it."

Akira looks at the scarf, and he looks at Mikasa's eyes.

Akira gives her a warm smile. "Thanks, Mikasa... But I want you to keep it."

Mikasa looked at him with confusion. In the second, Akira picked up the scarf and wrapped it around her, making her shocked.

Akira gave her another smile and said, "My mom gave this to me to make me feel her warm hug. Now I want to give it to you. I hope you can feel your father always be with you... and If you wish, you can think when we are apart, you can remember me with this, okay?"

Mikasa has a tear in her eyes. In a split second, she jumps and hugs him. Akira felt pain across his body when she hugged him, but he ignored the pain and he hugged her back.

A few days later, It was time to depart when Akira was in better condition. Shira has a new house to stay in, and Mikasa has a happy face with her new scarf. Grisha tells Akira that he and his family would be glad if Akira wanted to stay with his family, but Akira has his answers.

Akira shook his head and replied, "No, thank you. I already took Shira's offer, so I will stay with her and Mikasa."

Carla sighs in sadness, "If you say so... But remember, our doors are always open for you three."

Shira smiled and nodded while thanking Yeager's family. "Thank you, Carla and Grisha, for your hospitality."

3 Years later, Akira has learned this place is not his world. There is a 50-meter wall, and It is the wall that saves them from giant humanoids or titans. 

When Akira learns about this world problem, he starts to train his body back to his shape to protect his new family, but his power never increases, no matter how many times he pushes his body to its limit.

Akira stob his hand to the ground, thinking, 'Why I'm only this strong!'

As time passed, Akira became 13 and had a new look. His body got taller and more muscular. His hair is shorter than before and spikier, his body and face still have multiple scars can be seen, and he always wore a bandage to cover the red mark on his left arm.

Many children are scared of him because of the scar and muscle. Sometimes people call him a freak, but he doesn't care. 

One day, he, Mikasa and Eren found a blond boy who was bullied by random kids. 

At first, he didn't want to help the blond boy, but he felt pity for the blonde because he knew who he was. But before he could react, Eren was already running toward the bullies. 

Mikasa looks at Akira to see if he wants to help Eren. Akira sighed as he said, "Alright... Let's go help him." Mikasa smiled at him. 

Akira and Mikasa go toward Eren to help the blonde kid.

The Bullies smirked when he pushed the blond to the ground, "Who's going to help you now!"

"Hahaha!" The second bullies laugh as they hear a yell.

Eren run forward while yelling at the bullies, "Let HIM GO, YOU DUMBASS!"

"Huh?" The bullies looked at Eren and smirked, but in a split second, they saw Akira and Mikasa's death glare at them, which scared the shit out of them.

The other bully's sweat drops in fear as he says to his partner, "Hey, I think we have to go now..."

The bullies growled and said, "You're in luck, pretty boy..." The bullies run away from them. Eren, Akira and Mikasa arrive at the blond boy.

Eren laughed when he saw the bullies run away from him, "HAHA! Did you see that, Akira? They run away because they scare me!"

Akira and Mikasa rub their eyebrow while the blond boy sweatdrops. Akira looked at the blond as he extended his hands to help the blond boys up while asked. "Hey, you okay? You Eren friend, right?"

Eren ends his laugh as he looks at his friend while asking about the blond boy's condition. "Armin! Are you okay?"

The blond boy named Armin looks at him, and Akira nods and takes his arm while saying, "T-Thank you, Akira."

Akira raises his brown eyes as he asks, "How do you know my name?"

Armin gets up with Akira's help as he looks nervous about how to explain to him when he knows the rummer about the light blue-haired boy, "Well, y-you, quite famous around here. They said you are a delinquent, and I'm sorry! I didn't know you were a good guy!"

Akira sighed and said, "Hm, like Wise people will say, don't judge the book by its cover." He said in a serious tone, and Akira walked away from them. 

Armin suddenly looks scared at Akira's tone. He felt an arm on his shoulder. Armin turned his back and saw Mikasa and Eren.

Eren gave his friend a smile as he said, "Armin, he's okay. Don't be scared because when you know him, he is a lot nicer than you think. Right, Mikasa?"

Mikasa nodded and said, "Yes, Akira is, but just don't get on his bad side."

Armin sighed as he replied, "T-Thanks for letting me know, um?"

Mikasa inroduse herself. "My name is Mikasa." She said in an emotionless voice as she walked away toward Akira.

Eren tapped Armin's shoulder and told him to join them in hanging out together. But the happy emotion changes to shock when golden lighting strikes from outside the wall. 

Akira stops walking as his eyes are wide open when a Giant Humanoid is 60 meters tall with no skin, and the thing's head appears above the wall.

With shock on everybody's faces around them, Akira recovers his shock and looks at Mikasa.

Akira start to yell at his friend, "Eren, Mikasa! Snap out of it! We need to get back now!" Akira knows a bad thing is about to happen when that thing appears, but even worse, now he has no power to fight that giant.
