Main camp: The first of their days

Early next morning, Grace was already awake and dressed when she heard the horns ring. Presumably, this was to wake everyone up for breakfast. It was fine with her since she was already planning to wake up early with her "team" to get breakfast. They all gathered in their small living room and realized the other two people in the cabin got dressed up quickly and ran to catch up with them.

The announcement said to gather for breakfast in Five minutes or punishment would ensue. Everyone made it in time, some verily got in by a hair. Everyone was served breakfast and they could tell who was better rested and who had healing Injuries or had a rough time. Two villages would share a common large eating hall so not everyone gathered in the same place.

As this was the first day, the instructors decided to go easier on them and gave them an extra hour to buy all the essentials and extra things. Who ever was done would have that as free time. After the time was up, they had to gather in the eating hall for more introductions and explanations. The team decided to head back and relax. They knew free time was precious. They decided to write letters to be sent back home. Each week their letters would be delivered to their families.

Back at the information meeting at their eating hall, which we will call the commons room, one of the presenters started speaking. Every morning, they would need to wake up early and eat breakfast together. Only on weekends would they have the choice of getting up one hour later and eating their breakfast then or they could just follow the regular routine. He continued explaining the rules and talked about the different classes they would take.

After this was done, they headed out to walk for 30 minutes whilst they read a booklet that gave more detailed or reiterated what was said at the meeting regarding rules and everything else. Later they gather for their first martial arts class. One of the instructors had a mask on. One of the other instructors starters showing them exercises and moves to practice back in their village and encouraged them to continue strengthening their core and game them individual goals. This all was done after they were all done testing to determine their initial capabilities and starting points. According to their body and what they already possessed, they would have certain goals each week. They were all tested on their martial arts skills after sparring with their instructors. They spent the whole day doing thing and each were giving a sheet with their starting info and goals from then on. They were really impressed with Graces and Jolin's foundations and strength. Especially Grace's since she was already at the level or above some of the best male competitors there. They knew there was a reason why since she came from warrior women background. Regardless, they were impressed and each wanted to be her mentor. This was especially true of the only female in the 6 person instructor team with them. Grace was relieved to know she had met their expectations and had started on the right foot. For those who were not up to their standards, it would be a harder time.

They all returned back to their cabins and rested for the night after they had diner. Jolin and Grace sat talking while everyone else was comparing their sheets and calendars. Jolin and Grace didn't brag that their first scored were one of the best in their group because they knew this was only the beginning. After their lively discussions they all decided to go check out the training camps and equipment. There were wall obstacles in one of the region, with upper body strength emphasized in some and a well rounded body in others. They decided to warm up a bit, and with permission attempted some things. They were barely able to pass them and were impressed that it was hard. At some parts they felt like ninjas and not everyone could complete one of the simpler courses. They kept exploring under the dim lights and were excited for the next day. They decided to return to their cabin and discuss the future and what kind of teammates and relationships they hoped to form. Storm and Bordin both knew they probably wouldn't be in Jolin's and Grace's team but they decided they would continue to be friends and remember about each other no matter what. They decided to cheer for each other even if they went to separate teams. At this point in Time, the other two people decided to join them and discuss their plans and things they had to train on their next week. The first week would be the easiest and hardest because it was simple in the objectives yet physically demanding. With this in mind they all went to sleep that night with expectations.
