Eric's POV

"Here is some cash, you can have it ". I handed a wrap of Dollars to her, 

She took the money from me but hesitated to leave.

"Is there a problem ". I asked.

She bites her lips nervously before speaking up, 

"Don't you want me to please you".she asked in a low submissive voice.

I groan in frustration before speaking up 

"Don't worry, you can just leave with the money"

"But I can please you master, I promise I won't say my safe word".she pleaded 

I hissed and roughly ran my fingers through my hair.

"The problem is not you, I'm just not in the mood ". I muttered out those words and walked away.

I left the playroom and went to the bar, I ordered for a glass of red wine and hastily emptied the cup.

I can't have sex with anyone, not until I have claimed her and Mark her as mine.

I was still in thought when my phone started ringing, I went for it and realized it was Jude.i hissed in relief and picked up the call 

"Good day alpha".he greeted

"Good day Jude what did you find out". I asked impatiently

"She needs a huge amount of cash "he spoke firmly.

"Huge amount of cash?" I asked 

"Yes alpha".he replied 

"Like how much are we talking about here ". I asked 

"50 thousand dollars sir".

"What does she need it for ". I asked in curiosity 

"For her aunt's medical bills".he responded.

"Alright, that will be all ". I ended the call, 

I kept back the phone and smiled when a thought came to my mind.

I took a sip of my drink and felt relaxed, 

She needs money and I need her, everything solved.

I paid the bartender and left the club in a hurry.

I got home and saw Sophie in my sitting room sitting on the couch waiting for me.

"You are here ". I spoke up and sat on the couch opposite her

"Yeah, I've been waiting for you ".she said those words and stood up from the couch.

She walks up to me and sat on my laps with her legs on each side of my legs

"I miss you ".she murmured, 

I took in a deep breath and stared at her.

"I have been busy lately". I murmured

She murmured but did not say a word.

"Get up, I have to be somewhere". I gently pull her up from me and stood up from the couch.

"Eric" she called out to me, but I ignored her and went to my room.

I'm having a fight with my wolf and the full moon is around the corner and I have a lot of things in my head.

I pull off my clothes and changed into something different and casual.

I check the time and saw that it was pass 1am.

I left my room and saw Sophie was still in the sitting room.

"Are you going out ".she asked while staring at me with curiosity.

"Yes, I have to be somewhere ". I murmured and was about walking away when her words stopped me, 

"Are you avoiding me because you've seen your mate, and it's almost full moon ".she asked with pain in her voice.

I roughly ran my fingers through my hair and turn around to face her, 

"Who told you ". I asked 

"That isn't the issues here, what I said is it true".she asked in pain 

"Yes". I responded firmly.

"But why?, I thought you love me, and you could make me your mate and get married to me ".she asked with tears in her eyes.

I hissed softly and walk up to her.

I took hold of her face and gently caress it with care.

She closed her eyes and signed softly, before opening them.

"I'm not leaving you for anyone, okay?" I assured her but could still see she was doubting me.

"Listen ". I pulled her face to me so that I could look straight into her eyes.

"I give you my word, I'm just doing this for my father's sake and for the sake of my pack, I don't like this girl one bit. She is not my type and after mating I will have nothing to do with her ".her expressed those words as a promise.

She stares at me for a while before I noticed her flash me a big smile.

"I trust you ".she murmured 

I nod my head and move away from her 

"I'll have to go out now, make yourself comfortable". I muttered out those words and left the sitting room.

I went to the car garage and decided to drive the Toyota Ford.

I got into the car and drove off, in a few minutes I was in front of Victoria's flat.

I took in a deep breath before coming out of the car.

I walked up to her door and gently knock on it, I knocked a few times before I heard footsteps coming from inside the flat.

"Who is there".she asked, 

"Eric". I murmured in irritation.

She was silent for a while before she opens the door, 

"What do you want ?" She asked in irritation with her one on the door while the other on her waist.

"At least let me in ". I muttered out in anger, 

"Why should I?" She asked, 

I stared at her and could see the tough attitude she was putting in front of me.

I moved close to her and watch her move away from me.

I pull her to myself and stared into her two sets of brown eyes.

"What are you doing ".she asked with a trembling voice.

I ignored her and pull her closer to me so that I could inhale her fascinating scent.

"Stay away from me ".she pushed me away.

I chuckled softly and stared at her.

"Let me in ". I demanded 

"No".she replied firmly, 

"It's late, and I don't let strangers into my home ".she murmured while avoiding my gaze.

I chuckled softly and stared at her, but she quickly removes her gaze from me.

"Let me in, or I would be force to make you do that "I expressed those words as a threat.
