Eric's POV
Dad and I sat there with none of us saying a word.
I watched dad tapping his fingers on his glass of wine as he went into deep thought, he ran his fingers through his hair as he would always do, if something was bothering him.
''What are you thinking.'' I asked while taking a sip of the wine.
He took in a deep breath, slowly drank all the wine in his glass, kept the glass on the table before he moved his gaze to me.
''It will be the full moon soon.'' dad murmured
I stared at him as my eyebrows furrowed confused.
''Don't tell me you don't know what I meant.'' Dad frantically asked while shaking his head.
I released a soft sigh as I wondered why dad was so worried about the full moon, it's not like I'm eighteen that needs to be shifted to my wolf, so why was he bothered about the moon.
I was still in thought when I realized what Dad meant
''Victoria.'' I murmured
Dad was worried about Victoria going into her heat period in a time like that.
''You have to talk to her, you need to explain things to her, the earlier, the better.'' dad suggested
''I can't dad, where and how do I start explaining things to her. How do I tell her that I'm not just an ordinary human, how do I tell her I have special power and gift different from human, how do I do that.'' I grumbled tiredly.
''You are alpha Eric, you shouldn't be weak.''
''I'm weak, when it comes to Victoria, I don't know how to start explaining things to her, without she getting scared of me. Remember, she is naive and different from the strong will Victoria you know.'' I mumbled while rubbing my hands on my face tiredly.
Dad and I kept silent for a while, only the soft sigh coming from my mouth could be heard.
''So what will you do if she gets to her heat period.'' dad asked with his gaze on me.
''I don't know dad, when I get to there, I'll know what to do.'' I muttered out confidently, even though I knew I was scared.
Dad stared at me for a while like he was trying to read through me, before he slowly shook his head and stood up from the chair.
''I hope you know what you are doing.'' saying those words, he slowly walked to his bed, sat on it for a while before he lay on the bed and shut his eyes.
Seeing that he wanted to sleep, I kept the glass on the table, stood up from the couch and stared at sleeping father for a while before walking to the door.
I left his room, got downstairs, talked to few of dad's men before leaving his house.
With so many thoughts in my head, I drove back home, knowing Victoria will be waiting for a reply from me, but I knew I won't grant her request.
I Just got a vision of losing someone, and I can't let her leave my sight for anything.
