The escape

I awake handcuffed to a bed and the sound of beeping next to me while a new man in a doctors outfit is next too me and I immediately reach out to him as I tell him all that I saw as well as the fact the military man can't know.

He freezes and immediately becomes serious and nods his head not pushing the button on the bed but another red button next to the door.

A group of guards come and the doctor tells them to arrest those two while keeping two people on me while they do so, although I had lied and claimed I killed myself in the dream by biting my toungue off I am sure the next attempt will be one where they knock us out to prevent that so this lie will not work as second time.

I wait as they take those two into custody in my hospital bed and once they are gone I am taken back to my room, they tell me the sensor has been replaced so this will not work again, but from now on they will tell their visions to multiple people and the last one to hear a vision can't do it the next time to prevent this from occurring they say that my actions will be over looked due to the dire circumstances behind them.

I enter the room once more and finally all is normal again and the worry that came from that vision dissipates, everything returns back to normal only now more people are spoken to over the visions then originally so.

------2 year time skip-----

I am fifteen and have kept the truth hidden all these years thanks to the fact no other incident lake the last one has occurred meaning we have died in the visions allowing me to cover it up, I have made a name for myself by having visions long before the event even occurs and they believe it is proof my ability is stronger. Which is why the others didn't see me coming and if another powerful seer is involved in future deaths it could also be covered up like this making it so protection detail increased even without us having visions. 

The oldest of us is now about to turn eighteen and is to be moved to another facility as only the children seers are kept here so as too keep a closer eye on us as we age, and next week a new seer will be joining us.

I have told the people of him and the person is around 16ish in age from the looks of things a late bloomer by seer standards.

He is physically fit with well muscled body and a cold personality.

When he is finally brought to the place he is brought in with guards by him clearly he was not happy to be brought here, but is is safer here then out there.

No one bothers introducing themselves and we all stay clear of each other but when the time for work out comes the new guy also does the obstacle course making it so we have to take turns going as no two people are allowed at the same time for safety purposes.

It is clear he is very physically fit by the ease he does the basic course and he begins to talk somewhat with me while we do the course together.

Over the following two weeks we converse over our first respective visions mine being the bombing and his one of him being killed in an attack on the military school he was attending, we both came in due to wanting to save others lives even at the cost of our owns.

I grow fond of him and slowly the others first month passes smoothly with little trouble and I induce a vision to the next attack but a massive headache comes instead and I collapse.

Awakening in the hospital I see many doctors all over talking but I can't seem to focus on any as my vision is blurred to the point of making everything indistinguishable, they ask me what happened and I tell them I do not know one second it felt like I was falling asleep next a massive headache came out of nowhere.

I am taken to a medical check and nothing appears off, it isn't until after I am seen as completely healthy they tell me that my heart had stopped for a bit and my eyes where bleeding when they fund me.

I am taken to my room and told I will only participate in the social time and until my vision is back to normal no work out will happen.

So for the next week I am stuck in my room for all but the time when I am let out o meet with the others and they come to ask me what had occurred, I tell them about me collapsing but not the severity of it.

The new person has a look of interest at my statement but nods his head when I refuse to say anymore, another week of this when a alarm rings but this time it is not the normal short one but instead guards come into the room and we are escorted out to a airship put into safety rooms and the ship takes off.

A shaking comes and a sense of weightlessness comes and suddenly the airship crashes shaking us in our seats, a while passes when the door is pried open and a man in the same suit from my vision with the doctor enters.

I tense as I know we have been caught I immediately try and get out of my seat to try and take my life but I can't undo the buckles before a gas is released and my vision blurs I use my ability to clear the drug out of my system and am able to unbutton my belt when suddenly the new person attacks me knocking me out.

I don't have time to use my ability as I did not expect him as a traitor.

Darkness overcomes me as I stare at him in anger, he looks perfectly calm as though he didn't have a hand in killing so many people.

I awake in a room with a chain on my wrist and no one else around, the room is a single bed room with nothing but a bed and desk. I stay on the bed as I look around they didn't even bother trying to prevent us from killing ourselves as it would be easy to use the bedsheets to strangle myself using the fan.

I grab the sheets and begin to do exactly that but just as I am about to succeed a person comes in to stop me and I am put into a pair of handcuffs along with having a guard kept in the room with me.

I wait and finally a person enters and he is similar to the so called new seer if only older then him.

"Well I must say you really do not hesitate to kill yourself do you, the last time we meant to send someone you also nearly did so to get the attention of others so as to report our spies, honestly I have to respect your actions." The man says.

I remain quiet refusing to speak to him and he appears to have also realized this as he sighs and gets up.

"I had hoped to talk to you on your future sight ability as you are far more powerful sight then any of the seers the government has on hand and even we have not found any at the same strength as you, after all even with an ability nullifier in the area you nearly had your ability work truly an incredible show of strength."

I have never heard of something like an ability neutralizer though it may be something that came out while I have been in the institute it seems more likely to be an experimental weapon for these rebels.

"You don't need to know of the neutralizer but you do need to know that we can do this again for the older ones and they won't be spared like you children are unless you agree to work with us making it so their visions are useless."

I see the ability to not been seen by seers is why they left me alive despite my age.

"Of course we can just kill you to deal with a problem and then kill the older seers as well so the only ones left are these young ones."

I stay silent through the whole thing but I already have my choice, "Kill me."

I have no intention of playing this game with him and if he kills me I can appear in the past once more to report this to the officials.

"Very well since you do not wish to work with us." A bang and darkness as a energy bullet ends my life.

Waking up in the white room of the institute I immediately get up and start banging on the door in a frantic pace not sure of the time but not willing to risk it, it takes only few seconds for the door to open and a guard to take me out to report a vision.

I am taken to a military officer along with a doctor and tell them of what I experienced up until the bullet in my head.

All of the seers except the new one is taken to a transport ship and we do not see him at all as we are taken away from the home we have known since presenting as seers, silence as melancholy mood effects everyone at the fact one of us was a traitor.

But as we are about a hour into the flight a bang is felt and the ship shuts down leaving us in the dark and strapped in.

I can feel myself shake as I realize we are about to be taken just like I experienced once before and I unlock my seatbelt and immediately go tot he door, if they wish to take us then I will kill them and as I wait I signal the other two to unbuckle and put on the emergency gas masks.

Finally a busted door and a trail of smoke signals they have arrived and I grab the man on the arm draining him of his remaining time the next guard fires bullets but I tank them with my arm and grab him doing it to him as well.

I back up a bit then throw up as I just killed two people in cold blood but I needed to in order to not get captured and I signal the other two to follow me.

We get out of the vehicle on a desert planet with sand flying in the wind and little visibility.

I grab the clothes and weapons from the attackers and have me and the boy change into them as I tell the boy to protect our youngest while I deal with any threat there may be, we walk for a bit and no one comes.

As we begin to grow tired we decide to hunker down in a cave, with no provisions and little training for such things our hope of survival unless found are slim.

Finally once everyone rested enough we start to travel again and finally reach a small military base about a days walk from our crash sight, we immediately undress and go up to them telling them of the events that transpired though leaving out the visions of the future as those are secret.

They take the rebels clothes from us and sit us down in a waiting room with food and drinks as they go and report to their superior.

After about a thirty minute wait a man in a commander uniform comes in.

"A escort will be here in the next two days you are to be given the highest protection detail we can and no one is allowed to have outside communication while you are here, we promise to see you safely on your next transportation." He is soft and clearly wants to keep us calm as he explains what will happen now that we are with them.

I sigh as we are taken to separate rooms and finally able to sleep, laying in the bed I decide to have another vision so as to see if we are truly safe and nothing of danger pops up.

I fall asleep in peace at the new found safety.
