He paused, his eyes searching Emma's face for any sign of hesitation. "I know it's a lot to ask, especially since we've only just met, but I feel like there's something special between us. And I can't help but think that maybe, just maybe, you might be the key to unlocking this block."

Emma was silent for a long moment, her fingers absently tracing the patterns on the armchair as she considered Nate's proposal. Finally, she looked up, a warm smile spreading across her face.
