The Tombstone

After they walked for a while, they finally arrived at a really messy room, the room reeked of grease and oil. Massive machines, screwdriver, cable and many unidentified things were lying everywhere.

It was a total mess. Somehow, they made their way in; the club members were working on their own project without any concern for the random strangers, who have intruded upon their 'nest'.

There were groups of people working together on some huge sophisticated-looking machinery as well as separate individuals working by themselves on some random devices. Alfizar and the rest can't even tell what they were working on.

Dioz walked in the front, leading them deeper into a private workroom as if he owns the place. Judging by the expression of the few Tech's members who do notice him, Dioz seems like a regular visitor in this club.

Dioz opened the door without knocking, then strode into the room quickly engulfing the girl who was working on a small device in an intimate hug, leaving his companions stood frozen in front of the door.

The girl was startled by this sudden hug from her back, but her hand was quick to reach a screwdriver and hit the offender none too gently.

BUMP!

The dull sound they heard almost sent Dioz crumbling to the floor. He shouted in pain and clutches the steadily growing bump on his temple.

"Ah! Sorry! Didn't I told you to not startle me?" The girl was panicking over Dioz's head.

"I'm fine! Really." Dioz waved her off. "I need to introduce you to my friends." Dioz stepped away to reveal the hacker he claimed could help them about the CCTV footage.

His arms draped over the girl's shoulder; the gesture implied that they are really close. Then he began to introduce the girl properly. He tried.

"Guys, this beautiful girl is-" Suddenly Dioz was yanked away roughly from his crush.

During their exchange, Dioz's body was blocking Alfizar, Frans, Rachzi, and Henry's view from the girl, they couldn't see the girl's face. However, her voice felt familiar to some of them. So, the moment Dioz stepped away to reveal the girl, he was immediately yanked away by Alfizar.

"Br-brother?!" Shouted the girl with light brown waist-long haired in surprise.

"Brother?!" Dioz said as his eyes widen in disbelieve. He kept turning his head back and forth between Alfizar and his crush. Only then, that he found the familiar features.

Not only familiar. If it was not for the fact that Alfizar was taller than her, and has sharper features, they would be an identical twin! Oh dear, his journey to obtain the heart of his love of the life have just encountered a gigantic obstacle. Maybe having many rivals would be easier than this!

But reality just had to crush him. Not only rivals, he also have such an obstacle.

Alfizar's palm was still clutching Dioz's collar and he dragged him further away from the finally identified girl. His eyes were twitching in annoyance. He was ignorant of the mental battle happening in the head of this amorous friend of his.

He let go of Dioz's collar then decided to stood between his sister and friend. His fear of having Aurina encounter such a man came sooner then he thought it would. So, this is what that edgy feeling was about!

Out of all philanderer! And it just has to be Dioz?! If it was any other man, Alfizar would just beat the light out of them. But because Dioz was his friend he would have to let him get off lightly.

"Yeah, she is MY sister," Alfizar growled. His arms folded across his chest. A displeased expression was visible on his face. Henry pulled Aurina further behind him.

They both could hear Frans mumbling something that sounds suspiciously like "What an overprotective duo" or something like that. That remark was soon rewarded with two smacks on his head, courtesy of Vianzo and Rachzi. The three of them sure have such a good time, watching the drama.

"B-but, Aurin transferred in earlier than-" It was obvious that he is having a hard time processing the information. When realization finally dawned upon him, he stared at the three siblings and said: "You have the same last name..."

"You never connect that? Oh, you simply never thought about it, right?" Henry questioned while laughing humourlessly.

"Aurin, why did you never tell me that you have brothers?" The more Rachzi look at his playboy friend, the more pity he felt. The first time he truly fell in love, and he had already unknowingly slammed his head into a gigantic concrete wall.

Especially when the said big brother has already stated his fear of his little sister met such a playboy earlier on.

"You never asked." The fast and simple answer from Aurina was just like an arrow that pierced through his heart.

"Dioz, you are my friend. But still, please keep your hands off my sister." Alfizar sighed. He still wanted to keep a good relationship with Dioz. That playboy nature sure was irritating, especially when you see the incessant banters between the said friend and multiple girls every day. But Dioz is still a good friend nonetheless.

Stunned frozen from heartbreak, Dioz was incapable of even the simple task of opening his mouth to answer Alfizar.

"By the way, brother. Why did you all come here for?" Aurina asked. She was not really concerned about Dioz. She did like him, but if he really does like her... Sure he would stand against Alfizar and Henry, right? Right?

"Dioz said you could help us with your skills as a hacker. How come you never tell me you are a hacker?" Henry raised one of his eyebrows. That's right, Aurina never said anything about her skill in computer.

Suddenly, his sight clouded and his surroundings changed. This is a feeling that he had gotten used to; another vision coming.

"But, I'm sorry about that incident! If only I...!" That person was unwilling to stop. 'What accident?'

"Those who had died will never return. If only I could go back in time."

'Hmmm? Isn't this from my first day of school?'

Then, the vision changed to another scene he had seen before. It's the part where he had just woken up from the coma, just that it's different.

"You are one of the best hackers in the country! How could you get deceived by that traitor?!" He shoved the young man away roughly.

"B-boss! I'm sorry! This won't happen anymore!" The young man's voice was filled with terror and fear. Was he such a monster? To be feared like that. He could hear them when his subordinates talked behind him; when they thought he wasn't there to listen.

"We are not Young Miss, damn it!" The young hacker from before slammed his keyboard to pieces out of anger. One of his partners shook his head.

"You should understand that Boss is not really mentally stable right now. He just lost his last blood-related family after all." He sighed again. "She was one of the best hackers in the world, and the best team leader. Don't vent out your grief like how the Boss did. We grieved because we lost a leader. But Boss? He just lost his sister."

'What?!'

Then the vision and his surroundings changed again.

"It's been two years, I miss you..."

He saw himself knelt near a tombstone, cares the tombstone as if he was touching someone's face instead of the hard cold stone. He read the words carved on the tombstone.

[Here lies, Aurina di Elftaf

The girl who was taken from her remaining family

Now together with her parents in the heavens

Stood strong until the very end of her life]

Leaving this world for the next great adventure in the next life

May she finds peace in the afterlife]

When his eyes landed on the date, he was pulled back to the reality. But he has seen enough to know. Something was going to happen two years from now on.

Just in case you don't get it.

Those visions were pieces and bits from chapter 2, and 8.

Since I don't have any more draft, I will do my best to update at least 3 chapters a week.
