Time Stops When I'm with Her. (MHA)

A peculiar teen dies after being hit by Truck-kun. As the beaming lights flash into her eyes and the immense force tore apart her body, she finds herself motionless drifting off in a seemingly endless void until one day a light shone down upon her and she woke up in the body of a child. ( I do not own My Hero Academia/MHA, or the cover photo used for the novel.)

Chapter 30:

The aftermath of me and Momo's long session was quite something. Momo couldn't move an inch and didn't wish for me to move either. It was a rare sight. Momo didn't want to go to class. I'm sure her condition helped her in making that decision, but it was surprising nonetheless.

That type of thing was almost unheard of. I decided to humor her that day and let her cuddle with me. I did have to make some clones to go to lessons and grab us some food, drinks, and Eri when she returned.

We spent the entire day as a family relaxing in bed, cuddling, and watching as Eri was building up her cat empire on Minecraft. It was just a pleasant comfy atmosphere and one of my favorite days so far.

Some of the slower people in the class who noticed Momo's absence decided to question my clone on her absence. They only got a smug smile in response. It took a few minutes for them to connect the dots, but soon enough, everyone in the class was blushing to some degree.

Today is the day of the USJ attack, where Mr. Hand Fetish himself will make his debut as the sim- future successor of AFO. Have I done anything to prevent this attack? Nope, not at all.

This would be a hands-on fighting experience with actual villains, even if the majority are just weak low-level street thugs. I decided it was beneficial to let them live through this event, despite the bad reputation it will give UA, because it is what let class 1-A become better in the long run and hopefully make them realize that there is a real risk of death in this profession.

I looked into today's future to see if anyone would perish in the attack from our class. Thankfully, just like in the anime, everybody would be safe in the long run with only a few injuries here and there that could be healed easily.

I debated over the past week whether or not to tell Fluffy-chan. I ultimately decided not to, opting to instead have a clone message Tsukauchi to bring a few squad cars discreetly over to the USJ a few minutes after entering. Tsukauchi will then, in turn, inform Fluffy-chan, and by the time they end up making it to the dome, everything will be sorted by the students.

This attack will harm UA's image a lot, but I will try to minimize the damage done to a degree. It also helps that my family is in control of the majority of media sources in Japan and Asia, so minimizing the effect this will have on UA's reputation would be rather easy.

Could I also get it entirely covered up? It would be possible, but there would be too many risks in doing so.

The backlash UA would face in the event of AFO distributing some recorded footage he may have possibly recorded/obtained of the attack would be far greater than it would have been originally. It just wasn't really worth the risk, and I wasn't about to reverse time in the event of it happening to sort it out.

My main goal for the USJ attack would be to secure Kurogiri, aka. Oboro Shirakumo. I would have to do so discreetly and without Mr. Hand Fetish knowing until it's time to retreat and his master comes around with his backup teleportation quirk. Maybe I can distract him with video game references the entire time? Calling him his real name would probably do just fine too.

The hero Loud Cloud would rise once more, that is, if he isn't completely traumatized through the nomu turning process. On second thought, Loud Cloud will not rise once more. It would probably be for the best if he waited until AFO and his associates are captured so he wouldn't be able to create another Kurogiri.

Mr. Hand Job could escape and cry back to his master for all I care, but I wasn't about to have a teleportation quirk as great as his being out in the open. I wasn't about to babysit him and his convoy if I did capture him, all the way to Tartarus only for AFO to pull an all-out attack on Tartarus with his nomu army and make my job harder at a later date due to escapees.

The league of villains, or whatever is left of the original roster, will have to make do with that black sludge version which is infinitely worse. Eww, I don't even want to imagine what that sludge tastes like.

Noticing how my face cringed in disgust, Momo grew concerned and asked,

"Dear, are you ok?"

Absentmindedly I answered,

"Yeah, just thinking about how I should slap All Might later today. Do you think I should go forehand or backhand? Should I accelerate myself when doing it?"

That did nothing to ease her worries; it even had the surrounding seats worried. Someone being mad at All Might was an alien concept to them. Only villains are angry at All Might. Melissa looked particularly shaken up at my questions.

'What have you done to make her upset enough to want to perform a quirk-boosted slap on you, Uncle Might?' the blonde girl worried to herself.

Seeing how everyone was blankly staring at me, I decided to ask Momo what's wrong; it's far too early for me to do any real in-depth thinking.

"Babe, why is everyone looking at me like I kicked their pet kitten?"

"Well… You did just kind of admit to wanting to commit a quirk-assisted assault on the current number one hero. The very same person who many of them look up to.

To answer your previous questions, though, backhand and no quirk. It just looks more dramatic than a forehanded slap."

"I see… You really do have great taste. I thought you liked forehanded in the bedroom, though. What's with the change?"

Now, I didn't lack that much tact. I did freeze time before saying those words and unfroze it after saying what I wanted. I just wanted a reaction out of her, and boy did I get one. She turned into a blushing mess as she stuttered out rebuttals not even Eri would believe.

"Aww~ look at you, all cute and blushing." I cooed.

"S-stop teasing me!" Momo shouted into her hands, where she desperately tried to hide her flushed face.

Any future attempts of teasing were cut short as Homeless-san came crawling into class. I respect the dedication to sleep, but I don't think he really needs to go everywhere in the bag. He might as well do his night patrols in it, for god's sake.

"Now, time for class. I'm sorry for the late notice, but today I'll have you..." a tense atmosphere came over the class, "... decide on your class representatives." the homeless man said before slumping against the podium.

"Finally, a normal school activity!" Everyone cheered before raising their hands for candidacy. The previous tense atmosphere was lifted due to the words of the sleeping bag Jesus.

"I want to be the class rep! Pick me!" Kirishima shouted first.

"Me too!" Kaminari joined in.

"I want to do it too!" Jiro said after hearing the declaration from Kaminari.

"It's a job made for someone as sparkling as Moi," Aoyama said, only to be completely drowned out by Mina.

"Me! I'll be the leader!"

Mineta was about to start his entire spiel about how the girl's skirts should be shortened, only to be completely shut up by the murderous aura I was emitting.

"If anyone is gonna lead you extras, it's gonna be ME!" Bakugou shouted.

'Damn, and he was making so much progress on not calling everyone extras too.' I mused.

As the class turned into a cacophony of shouting and generally turned into an unpleasant place to be in, Iida decided to be the bastion of hope for all silent lovers like myself.

"Silence, please!" Iida said, somehow attracting everyone's attention.

"This is a serious position with the responsibility of leading others. It is not just a job for anyone who wants it to satisfy any social power plays you may have in mind. It is a calling that requires the trust of those around you. If we want to use democracy to decide on a true leader, then we should hold a proper election to choose one."

"Your hand is raised the highest." Tsuyu pointed out.

'Yeah, hypocrisy isn't the best look on you, Iida.' I chuckled to myself.

"Everyone is just gonna vote for themselves in that case." Kirishima pointed out.

'Definitely not me. I don't want this damn position. Too much paperwork.' I thought, trying my best to suppress a shudder.

"Then doesn't that make it so that whoever gains the most votes here can truly be considered a person worthy of such a position?" Iida explained.

"What do you think, Aizawa-sensei?" Iida asked the caterpillar, who couldn't care less.

"I don't care. As long as you finish by the time class is over, it's all fine with me." Homeless-san replied.

"Thank you very much!" Iida said in gratitude with a perfect ninety-degree bow.

After having Momo make a voting box, the votes were cast.

The vote tallies were what I foresaw earlier today, much to my disappointment. I thought threatening the symbol of peace they all admired would have been enough to dissuade them from voting for me.

Sakuya Izayoi - 6 votes

Momo Yaoyorozu - 3 votes

Iida Tenya - 2 votes

Melissa Shield - 2 votes

And so on and so forth.

I could guess at least four of the votes for me. Momo, Mina, Kirishima, and Tsuyu. The other two I had no idea about. Nobody was really giving off any visual clues while I was walking up to the podium either.

I slammed my hands on the desk, which significantly calmed down the tirades of certain students about not being picked; before speaking,

"Umu! It is I, your new overlord. You can all refer to me as Mistress if you wish; apart from you, Mineta, you disgust me on so many levels. I have three, yes three, orders I am making as of right now.

My first order of business is that crocs are to be banned in the dorms. I'm sure I don't need to say why. Anyone caught wearing crocs will be subjected to capital punishment.

My second order of business is to promote my wife to be the class rep while demoting myself to vice-rep.

My third order of business is to promote the winner of a rock-paper-scissors match between Melissa and Iida into my vice-rep position before retiring."

(A/N: What? Did my readers really think I was about to be like every other generic MHA fanfic and forget about Momo, who rightfully should be the Class rep like the queen she is? How shameful.)

"This isn't democratic at all! This is an abuse of power!" Iida shouted.

"Silence! This was a dictatorship the second I was elected. You knew what was going to happen. Now, get to playing rock-paper-scissors."

The rock-paper-scissors match went by very quickly when Melissa remembered that Iida is always used to throwing those weird hand chop movements around that resemble the paper option. Melissa was all the happier in her new position, although a bit nervous.

"I'll try my best to keep up to everyone's expectations of me and this position," Melissa said, slipping back into her native language of English at the start due to nervousness.

"Howdy, partners!" Snipe said from the door.

"Oh, is the class over already?" Homeless-san asked the cowboy.

"Yep, it's time for some good ol' Physics right now." He said.

"That's that then. I'll submit the names to Nedzu at the end of the day. If any of you two have a change of heart, come see me in the staff room by then." Homeless-san said, wriggling his way out of the room as he went to his next scheduled lesson.

Creation is hard, cheer me up! Love the Book? Review it!

A filler chapter. I know, not really what you must have wanted but they are necessary in the long run. Fillers are arguably what keeps me sane during writing.

I find it so much easier to just write some filler fluff slice-of-life chapters than actual plot and action scenes. I should have probably chosen a less action-based series to get back into writing, huh? Lol.
