Ch 35: Kai's Outlet

[This picks up from Chapter 33.]

Coming out of his thoughts from thinking about how things went from his visit to his father's office earlier that morning. Kai felt worse about everything he had pulled tonight. He felt as if he had forever lost Victoria.

"This is all my doing," Kai mumbled in hopes nobody would hear him. But he knew better to realize his friends saw and heard him loafing in his self-pity.

"Things will get better Kai," Ivan pats his back. "You just need to keep holding onto your hope."

Kai scoffed and hissed at what Ivan said. "I've lost my hope long ago! My life has been filled with bleakness and darkness. I've been dead inside for a long time."

Kai backed away from the guardrail. His friends all but move aside, not stopping him from pushing through them. Kai needed an outlet to take his mind out of his gloomy mood. His eyes peered about and a twisted smile curved his mouth.

Kai spots the blonde trash bag, he thought. To remember Victoria called her that. Kai heads in her direction to see she was now hanging on, Rome. Ivan, Ace, Rome, and the rest of their clan saw that evil grin stained on his lips. His friends knew all too well, there was no stopping Kai now.

He strides up to the blonde and says, sounding a bit demanding, "let's go take a walk outside."

But the woman snubbed him rudely. "Why?" She asked, being stuck up while getting cozier with Rome, who was all but smirking between her and the other lady in his arms. "Now you want my attention since your fiancee all but walked out on you for another man."

"She's not my fiancee," Kai lied sweet-talking her. "She was just mad because I ditched her for you."

The woman's gray-blue eyes lit up and a sinister smile curled on her red apple lips. "Is that so..." she said seductively with a smooth pause in her voice. She played her charm game and waited for Kai's next move.

Kai didn't disappoint her and charmed her with an appealing smile that wasn't only sexy but alluring. "Come take a walk with me and I'll prove it," Kai played his card without the need to shuffle the deck. He knew how to swindle her type. So it didn't take much for him to blind her with a smooth smile. The only one that seemed to burn his deck of cards was Victoria. Just a small part of him wished Victoria was this easy but then again. This is what makes Victoria more interesting.

Nevertheless, he'll deal with Victoria later, reckoned Kai. Right now something else was on his mind. Something that he had required a taste for. Kai didn't have to ice the cake with this woman. She left Rome's right arm that was over her shoulder and slid out of the booth seat. Rome smirked before kissing the other woman he had cozied up in his arm.

For an extra spice to add to his charm. Kai held out his hand like a gentleman. The woman smirked and blindly took it to stand on her heels. She cupped his hand for Kai to all too easily lead her away. He took her downstairs and went out toward the back. And entered outside with her in the dark alley.

"Where are we going?" She asked Kai, trailing her along.

Kai didn't answer her and kept pulling her by his side. Until he found this good spot that was dark and out of sight from viewers. He turned, pushing her back toward the brick while she giggled. To think it was sexy by how he does. Once at the wall, she tried to playfully kiss him but Kai dodged her lips by lifting his mouth. Instead, he went in for the taste of her neck side.

She moaned, feeling his lips touching her flesh. His mouth opened and she heard him hissed. It sounds sexy and alluring the way he hissed. Soon to follow, she felt teeth and she chuckled, liking it.

Until she yelped to feel pain. She heard cracking bones in her ear.

"Kai!" She screamed out of breath and dug her nails into his shoulder blades. From above his black formal shirt. She felt her bone-cracking, she could hardly scream. A raw dry groan was all she could release. The light in her eyes was fading. She felt heavy and weak like her life was drained from her. All the while she heard Kai gulping loudly. Her hands fell weak and slid off his back like jello. The pain became so unbearable that all she could do was seal her eyes. She suffocated trying to retain the last breath that left her dying lips. Kai released her flimsy body and she fell smacking her head hard on the pavement but that didn't matter; she was far gone. Kai licked the blood off his lips feeling somewhat satisfied.

Nearby was a road drain, he pulled it open and then went back easily dragging her body. With one hand, he tossed her into the drain. Her body dropped hard with a loud splash. He closed the lid and then went back inside, hoping in the back of his mind. It will be enough that nobody will find her body.

He went back to the second floor finding Rome making out with the woman he had. Ace and a few others were gone. Ivan was kissing his wife Mia. Kai took a seat in the booth with Rome intensely kissing the girl. A trail of blood was running down the corner of her lip. Rome breaks his lips off licking his mouth clean with his fangs showing. The club was too dim for anyone to see. Plus they weren't the only vampires in the club all but doing the same thing. The woman Rome has was far too weak to scream.

"Are you thirsty for more before I finish her?" Rome asked.

Kai grinned evilly, Rome sat her up some as she weakly moaned, hanging on to what little life she had left. Kai expanded his fangs and bit down on her neck and Rome snatched her mouth again. She moaned and tried pushing up against their strong built bodies but her arms felt weaker and flopped dead. Kai and Rome hissed, shrinking their fangs back into normal size canines. Kai was more full to his liking as the dead woman sat between him and Rome. Nobody was paying attention. If a group of humans bypassed their table. It only looked like she had one too many drinks.

Kai's heart burned again to watch Ivan and Mia madly making out. A dribble of blood slid down between their mouths before Mia released and curled her tongue to lick Ivan's chin and mouth clean. Ivan was turned on badly. For a mated pair to bite one another was a huge turn-on for the two of them. Mates shared this type of affection to show their love. Kai was hurt and empty since it was something he longed to have with Victoria.

"Let's dumb her somewhere," Rome said taking Kai's attention. "Then we can make sure Victoria is safe."

"There's a drain in the alley," Kai suggested. "She can be with her friend."

Rome laughed, "sounds like a party." He picked the dead woman up bridal style. Then he and Kai left together.
