Years later, we see the boy, now grown, leading a reconnaissance mission to find a safe route for the few remaining humans to escape the worsening environment caused by years of war.

During this mission, the young man loses a human companion who sacrifices himself to save his leader.

During this journey, the young man meets the robot girl he saw as a child. She identifies herself in a peculiar way. This strange being with a girl's appearance and robotic parts is part of a civilization known as the 'Ex-Machines,' who seek knowledge about other civilizations.

After a brief conversation, the robot girl proposes a game to the young man, where the loser must obey the winner. Of course, our young man proves to be a worthy rival and ends up losing.

The robot girl orders the young man to adopt her and take her home, which he cannot refuse due to losing the bet. Moreover, the robot girl is much stronger, and the powerless young man can do nothing but comply with her demands.

She has no specific name since her race does not use such courtesies. Thus, the young man names her Shuvi.

The young man and Shuvi have several discussions about the 'Ex-Machines' understanding of the human heart and their quest to control the world at the expense of other living beings. In the end, Shuvi understands the feelings and becomes a couple with the young man.

The scene where human and machine break the racial barriers and the young man declares his love for Shuvi leaves a deep impression on the girls. After all, with the world nearing destruction due to the war, amidst all the despair and pain...
