Journal Entry No. 2
Dear Journal:
It has been a while since I have wrote. I apologize for my negligence in doing so. Do you remember when I told you that I would be very busy with the matters regarding the exodus of witches? It has been successful so far! Right now I am in the Charming Beauty with other witches en route to an island the people from the Fjords were so kind to give us. Since it was impossible to accommodate everyone in one ship, we have contacted other ships, for a price, to help us with the migration.
During our sea travel so far, we have met with some sea creatures that were threatening our voyage. Thanks to the effort of the combat witches, everyone is safe and sound. Molly's magic was really amazing! Her ability is making an energy figure avatar that has mass, wrapping the ship up as if it were a shield... it is very useful for sea travel!
From what we have gathered, the island has an extremely ridiculous high tide. I deduce that it was due to this phenomenon that there were no inhabitants in the island. Nevertheless, this won't be a problem for us because we have found a witch that could manipulate the earth. Her name is Lotus. I could ask her to build a mud wall around our 'home', and then we would need to build two different piers: one when there is no high tide, and the other for high tides. Additionally, with Lotus' power we could build temporal housings until we get comfortable with the new environment. As for food... we will have to settle with seafood. Sigh... I will really miss the food from the palace...
I wonder how is Father and my Brothers doing right now? I hope it hasn't gotten grave enough that blood would be shed. I am starting to miss the old times... but since I have already assumed the leadership of this group of witches... I need to get stronger and be prepared mentally for what is coming. They are all depending on me. The road ahead seems very rocky.
Haha... I just remembered something. What do you think of the name 'Sleeping Spell' as the name for our organization? It sounds very cute right!? I even want to name the island as 'Sleeping Island' haha.!
Ashes... I miss her... I hope to hear good news from her. She suddenly decided to spend some time on Border Town where my annoying brother was sent to. She was supposedly going to fetch some witches that were awakened there and then arrive to the harbour before we left land... It is strange why she decided to stay more time when she already knows how repulsive Roland could be. Something must have happened at Border Town... or Longsong Stronghold.
I guess I have to wrap things up for now. I need to wake earlier tomorrow and check on the affairs of the travel. Don't worry my dear. I will write to you very soon.
