Chapter 19
Soon, everyone was sitting at the meeting room. We were waiting for the king to arrive. If only they could him the way I did, no one would be sitting here today waiting for him. Nora knew I was going to disrespect him again so she has been trying to convince me to at least act.
"Ivy" Nora whined
"Nora stop it. If you wish to respect him go ahead with it. But don't expect me"
"But you're not sure yet. Maybe your memory's just playing tricks on you" Nora continued
"Nora let her be. Besides, he won't punish her anyway." Albert said
Finally, the king entered. Everyone stood up except me. But I eventually stood up after a lot of contemplating. When he sat, we all took our places then he started "I would like to begin by thanking you all for coming. And to also thank you all again for your efforts and fighting for what's right." I almost laughed out loud when he stopped but I held myself.
"But as you all know, your training doesn't end there. Speaking of training, students from Bluebell's university have been transferred here for further training. Representing them, we have the Da Vincis. Nora, Ivy you're welcome"
"Thankyou" Nora answered
"A party as you would refer to it, has been hosted for you all by the Arts department. They said they have a surprise for you. It's this evening if I'm not mistaking." Basil said looking at me waiting for a reaction. But I wasn't going to give him one.
"Anything else to add? If none then I'll be leaving"
The king left and the room was filled with noise.
"Well that was a good start" Nora said
"Are you happy now? Because that will be the last" I told her and stood up to leave
"Hey, leaving so soon? Didn't you miss your bestie?" Albert asked and stood up "Come on I'll show you around"

"Hey Albert. Going somewhere?" a boy named Alvin asked "I was hoping for you to help me with something" he added
"Albert we'll see you later. I have something to attend to" Ivy said and was about to leave but George stopped her.
"Ivy wait. Fiona" George called
"Yes boss" " do you know where Sarah is? She was supposed to be here representing the medical branch of students"
"I don't know boss. Zoe do you?" she asked her friend who adjusted her before answering. Not that her hair was messy, she just likes adjusting it around George to get his attention "No boss I haven't. But I'll let you know the moment I see her" she said and blinks a few times "Ok thanks. Ivy, let's go I'd like to talk to you" George said and leaves with Ivy.
"Fiona did you see that? He talked to me about something other than work" Zoe said excitedly "Lord help you Zoe" Fiona said
Outside, George and Ivy were walking towards the garden. As they walked, students would pass by and greet George and some Ivy. "George where are we going to?" Ivy asked George " We're almost there" George said and took out his phone and texted someone.
Back at the meeting room "Come on I'll show you around" Donald said and Nora just followed. "Boss said he'll start with Ivy. And obviously Donald's taking Nora. So start testing and meet at district seven." Albert said and left.

We had been walking for four whole minutes. Who knows what I would have done in those four minutes of movement. We passed the garden where I thought we were going to. After the garden, we passed through a hall way with a black gate at the end of it. From here I could tell it was a tournament stadium. A surprise attack on me?
"If you fight me now, are we still to fight on Tuesday?" I asked him as we passed through the gate. "We're not fighting. I'm trying to qualify you" "Qualify_" I didn't get to finish my sentence when George attacked me. I just blocked the attacks with my hands.
He wasn't trying and neither was I. He gradually increased his force as if he just started. "Can I make a call before we continue?" I asked him "No calls allowed on a battle field" he warned me and continued with his attack. "Nithe." I said and entered the ground. "What the" George said looking for me. "I'm here" I said.
"Ivy quit joking this isn't a game."
Ofcourse it's not a game. I came out of the ground. If he wanted a fight, then a fight he shall get.

Before George could notice, Ivy started doing an oppose
An oppose is a fighting technique or spell whereby, the one doing the spell connects with the other's soul, making them do the opposite of what he or she is doing.
She wounded her thumb with her teeth, and used the blood to write oppose in an ancient language. A small red line appeared on the ground and moved to George. George felt something grab him but he couldn't move a muscle.
"Ok" Ivy started "what can I do with you? I don't actually have the strength to fight you today De Relro" she told him and sat down while he stood erect. "I hope this proved to you that I'm qualified for the training"
"No. You just proved you're qualified for running during a battle. And I guess in a way qualified for the socery department" George said trying to move
"Correction, medical and military departments"
"Wow. Are you sure you can handle those two Da Vinci?" George asked
"If I can handle you and your whole group, then what of training?" she said and George scoffed. "What? You don't think I can take you all down? Say what. I'll let you go, if you accept I battle your whole group at once"
" Are you planning on dieing at an early age woman!" George asked
"Suit yourself"
At a hall in district seven at night. The whole was occupied with the high rank students who trained in Forville and transfers from Bluebell and students from district seven.
"Has anyone seen boss?" a boy named Kelvin asked but no one had seen him.
George and Ivy were still at the tournament stadium. Ivy made George to sit but he couldn't move. He refused to agree to her request.
"Look even if I accept there's no way the others will" George said
"A yes from the boss is a yes from all~" Ivy sang but regretted after seeing the look on George's face. She clears her throat "I.. just love singing sometimes. I mean..a yes from you, the boss, is a yes from the others. Don't you think?" she said and concerntrated on her phone
"Yeah. Still not doing it. Plus, I can break out of anything including spells"
Ivy ignored him and went through her messages as he struggled with the spell. She just received a text from Nora saying that she was invited to the welcome party as AST'S leader.
"You've got to be kidding me" she said absentmindedly and freed George from the spell. "I have somewhere to be. And I'm sure you do too" she said and left.
