I disappeared.

My eyelids slowly widened and allowed me to gain back my vision which didn't matter.

—It was pitch black.

I couldn't see anything at all until a message appeared in front of my eyes.

「 You have died. 」

「 You have 3 hours until you resp#$-

「 Error! Error! A third party has interfered with the connection 」

"What..?"

「 Kicking User 'Xela' off the server- 」

「 Attempt failed.. 」

「 Shutting down... 」

And just like that, the game panel switched off completely.

"Hello? Hello?!?"

I tried to shout but to no avail as there was nothing there.

Contemplation clouded my brain.

I wondered if what I made was really the right decision.

"How am I supposed to log out now? Am I going to be stuck here..?"

「 System reboot 」

「 Error! Third party taking control #$-#637-$-#66#-2-2-6 #7#62 」

「 A@7# @8# 」

...

Silence.

"What is even going on?"

"Huh?"

Finally, an actual message appeared in front of me.

「 <The One Who Controls The Clouds> is interested in forming a contract with you. 」

"A contract? No-"

「 The host does not have a choice. 」

「 Forming Contract... 」

"W-wait, what??"

I panicked greatly.

"Stop-"

「 Contract formation is successful. 」

「 Congratulations. You have formed a contract with <The One Who Controls The Clouds> 」

"No.."

I fell on my knees.

「 Your Main Class has automatically been switched to the Apostle Class [Thunder Disciple] 」

「 You have acquired the skill [Lightning bolt] 」

「 You have acquired the skill [Lightning manipulation] 」

"No.. what?"

I looked at all the notifications in shock. Pure shock.

'Apostle class?'

There were five ranks of a class.

Basic - the class which everyone starts with.

Intermediate - an even better version

Advanced.

Master - which the top players have.

And lastly,

The Apostle Class.

The game's developers told the player base that this rank has six different classes in the whole game.

But nobody has ever found a single one before.

Or some maybe has, but hasn't told the public.

"To think that I'd get such a high class like this."

This was great and all but,

"What does this contract include?"

「 ... 」

"Hello?"

No response.

It was deafening.

I couldn't hear any response, but when I thought that I'd get a response to my question..

「 Taking control back. 」

「 Booting user 'Xela' off the server 」

"W-wait!-"

Shut down.

"Dammit.."

I stared at the ceiling, still lying down on the seat of my opened Pod.

Though, I had so many questions still roaming inside my head,

I decided to let it go and get up.

"I shouldn't take this game so seriously.. it's just a hobby."

My feet feel the wooden floor and take steps until I exit the room's door.

But when I get out,

"Alex!"

I hear a girl's voice.

She had gold hair, blue eyes and an innocent smile.

"Hey, Aisha."

I smiled back at her while she stood a few metres away from me.

My family consisted of only me, my sister and my father.

Unfortunately, my father, by himself, also works very hard to provide for us.

My sister is only still in highschool and is only old enough to work part-time.

But she can't due to her weak body which is only able to walk normally.

"How was it? Are you past the beginner village?"

And another fact to note is that my sister also plays the game.
