CHAPTER 10
CAROLINE'S POV
Mike was standing there with a wide grin on his face while Phoebe, on the other hand looked shocked/ terrified/ worried. Why? I don't know.
"What would you feel if your crush came to your surprise birthday party with a bunch of flowers standing in the spotlight huh? Are you an IDIOT" my conscience scolded me again.
Even though we are the same person I feel like that half of me is smarter . I could also see Phoebe's parents faces. Her mom looked at the both of them with adoration while her dad looked at Phoebe happily but was DEFINITELY glaring daggers at Mike. And I believe this glare says...'IF YOU HURT MY DAUGHTER, I WILL KILL YOU'. Well, fathers will still be fathers. After what feels like ages, Mike starts to speak,
"Hey Phoebe" he said sheepishly.
Seriously dude? 'Hey Phoebe, I'm just gonna say hi to you because I'm an IDIOT' yes that's what I'm playing in my mind.
"Hey?" Phoebe answered...although it came out more like a question.
"So, Happy Birthday!"...
OH MY GOD CAN THIS GUY JUST GET THIS DONE. I guess Leo felt that I was about to murder someone,
"Calm down, Caroline. Don't murder him.". I glared daggers at him and he put up his hands in surrender.
"I have always wanted to tell this to you, but well, I kinda chickened out everytime. But I'm gonna tell it now...", Phoebe's eyes widened.
"Phoebe, will you be my gir-",
"Okay, we can stop right there" Phoebe stopped him.
WHAT. WHAT IS SHE DOING?.
"Hey, can we talk alone for a moment?" she asked him and he nodded as they went to the backyard.
WOW. JUST WOW. MOMENT RUINED.
"Elly??!!" I screamed.
"I know, I know. Just calm down.".
After a few minutes they both came back in with wide grins and came right to us.
"What happened?" Elly asked.
"We talked things through and Yes. WE ARE OFFICIALLY A COUPLE."
YES.YESYESYES. WOOOOOOOOOHHH. Sorry. I'm just so happy that this is finally happening.
"Wait...then why did you call him to your back yard?" Elly asked.
"Because she is a moment ruiner" I answered sarcastically and she rolled her eyes.
"What? I can't let the whole world know that I'm in a relationship".
I took a moment looking at the amount of people in her gigantic house.
"Well, if you put it THAT way..."
The next day...
"Good morning..." I heard a voice.
"Morning...." I replied still sleepy.
The next thing I felt was ice cold water with the breezy air of my air conditioning on my skin.
"WHAT THE F-" Elly put a hand on my mouth before I can finish my sentence.
"YOUR MOM IDIOT" she whispered/yelled.
"WHAT EVEN?",
"It's 11 am. What are you doing asleep?" Phoebe asked.
"Its A SATURDAY. I wake up at 6 every other day!". Phoebe sighed,
"Well, Care. Sometimes it's not about how early but it's about consistency." I glared daggers at her.
"Wake up sleepy head",
"I AM AWAKE" I screamed frustrated, got up and got in my bathroom.
After having a WARM shower, I came out.
"What do you want?" I asked annoyed.
"Oh, is my big sister mad?",
"YOU WANNA TEST IF I AM. TRUST ME YOU'LL GET GREAT RESULTS" I screamed.
"CAROLINE. STOP SCREAMING. WHAT ARE YOU GUYS DOING UP THERE. COME HAVE BREAKFAST." mom screamed.
"Come on" they pulled me out.
We quickly ate breakfast and they pulled me AGAIN to God knows where. It's been 10 minutes and got frustrated.
"WHERE THE HELL ARE WE GOING?" before they can answer my question, Leo jumps in front of me out of no where. .
"OH MY GOOD LORD!" I exclaimed.
"Hey, Caroline. Can I talk to you for a minute.
"Yeah?" that came out more like a question.
He pulled to a side where Phoebe and Elly cant hear anything and whispered in my ears. My eyes widen in shock after hearing what he said.
ELLY'S POV
I saw Caroline's eyes going as wide as a football and I got a little nervous. What is Leo saying to her?. Suddenly Caroline ran as fast as she can, grabbed Phoebe and ran to a random direction. I started running behind them but before I could take 2 steps Leo held me and I blushed. HARD.
"Elly, I wanna say something" he started and I gulped.
Oh no. What is he gonna say. He's probably gonna tell I'm like a sister for him and he doesn't have any feelings. OMG. Is that why Caroline ran. He probably hates m-
"Elly?" a voice cut me out of my mind rambling.
"Y-yes" damnit.
Why did I stutter?
"Yeah, so. I like you", my eyes widened at his confession,
"I always have. And I was hoping to take you out sometime?".....
in my head that's my face. And outside....Yup.
"Uuummmm...you're joking aren't you?" I asked nervously.
"What. No! I'm genuinely asking you out." he said casually.
"Seriously?" he nodded...
"Like SERIOUSLY?",
"Okay, how do you want me to prove this to you?" he asked.
"I don't know, I've never been like a with a hundred boys you know." I replied
"WHAT! What do you mean? Are you saying like I'VE been with a hundred girls?" he asks,
"I DUNNO, MAYBE YEAH?" I retort...
"Are you guys like having a fight before even GOING on a date?" Caroline asked sticking her head out from behind a wall.
"RIDICULOUS!" Phoebe continues.
"SHUT UP" I said looking back at him.
And before I know it, a pair of strong arms wrapped around me pulling me closer to him. I blushed immediately. Damnit.
"Hey, how about that date?" he asked.
"Sure. But..." I whispered in his ears.
And he gave an "Oh" look.
CAROLINE'S POV
Are they like playing my own trick on me. WHAT ARE THEY WHISPERING. In a split second Leo comes and grabbed my hand pulling me while the others followed.
"WHERE ARE YOU BRINGING ME?",
"To see someone",
"WHO?",
"Someone you sorta hate",
"WHY?",
" Because he wants to talk to you.",
"ITS A HE?",
"OH ITS DEFINITELY THAT COW NICK. WHAT HAPPENED TO 'I'LL WAIT '?"
suddenly he stopped on his tracks and I saw a someone.
"Hey Cici" a voice came out.
"WHAT IN THE WORLD?" I asked wide eyed.
