Seeing my mom in that bed was killing me. I felt helpless seeing her in that condition, It was like I was going to Say goodbye to her any time soon,which am not sure if am ready for it yet. it's a painful truth which I wasn't ready to accept.

Never have I ever thought in my life that I will get to see this day, I was always thinking of us being together for a long time if not forever.

I was discharged from the hospital later that day. So Saleena volunteered to take me home even though I told that it wasn't necessary.

I knew that she might be busy with school and home because of the unexpected marriage proposal which was to happen next week as she told me when we were leaving the hospital.

I knew Saleena wasn't gonna let this happen but who knows, her mother who won't even try to listen to her decided to invite the boy's family for dinner next week. Saleena told me all these as we were leaving my room.
