Ghost city; Emberfall
Kairos began to expand his domain. It stretched outward, consuming the surrounding area with its ethereal glow. Any transcendent witnessing this would have been stunned into silence. Domains were typically limited to a few kilometers in diameter, but Kairos's domain swelled to a horrifying 100 kilometers, engulfing the entirety of Emberfall.
The city's inhabitants emerged from their homes, bewildered by the sudden transformation. The world seemed more vibrant, colors intensified, and nature pulsated with an otherworldly energy. However, their wonder turned to confusion as animals began to panic. Birds took flight in massive flocks, fleeing the city in a desperate exodus. Cats and dogs abandoned their age-old rivalry, joining the stampede for the city limits.
