"How's your day?" Samuel asked his brother who's leaning at the island counter while a glass of gin is in his hand. He placed the bowl of garden salad on the counter before he seated beside him.
"Did the Serpents piss you off?"
"That makes me eager to kill them."
"But they're already dead."
"I'll make them double dead." Felix sneers, making Samuel shake his head and start to dig on his salad. Silence filled the atmosphere between the brothers but they didn't mind since they were used to it.
"Dude," Samuel called his brother.
"Are you doing this because of them getting on your way or perhaps there's something that has shaken up your mind to do such an obscene gamble? You know we cannot do any movements as for now since the Priam Videlle is one of the Excalibur's territory." Felix did glance at him and placed the glass on the countertop. The older let out a low and throaty chuckle, "What are you saying, Sam? Serpents used to get on my nerves. I was the reason why they meet their complete downfall," Felix brushes his finger against the glass' rim. Samuel turned at him with a meaningful stare.
"My dearest brother read the situation excellently, maybe I'm up to something or maybe it's just a simple business or maybe I just wanted to get rid of someone. " Both of the edges of Felix's lips tugged upwards that formed into a smile. Samuel raised a brow, "Say, did you like Trance or you're just using her to gain the whole trust of Miyazaki?"
"I don't have any interest in that girl, I still don't allow her to get me wrapped around her little finger."
"The whole prison section is looking up on her, brother."
"Excalibur pups."
"They got the government organization across the globe is under their protection. Even the secret services."
"Who cares? I got my ways."
"About Trance, she's not an emotional toy for you. That one is a Miyazaki. You know them. That won't be a piece of good news the head of the family finds out about that." Samuel tried his best to remain calm despite how his blood started to boil by his brother's tone and answers. Felix remained nonchalant.
"A princess and the main character of this fucking life. Am I engaging in a war? Yes. Peace talk is not my damn style. I know some of those bitches will do something against my back. Even that organization won't do anything against it." Felix replied to him before he started at the gun beside his glass.
"It appears like someone wants malice in here," Raiden commented before he was seated on the stool next to the brothers. Felix ignored his presence but Samuel did notice Raiden and give him a questionable look.
"I used the door, Heimdall somehow makes me dizzy," Raiden added. He positioned his arms on the countertop and buried his face in his arms. "Nine and those things are both crazy." He groaned.
"She went here earlier," Hiro said while leaning at the wall beside the window. The three older males looked at him. "I just wanted to go here instead of I'm going with my sister."
"Hiro, how does it feel that your sister ruled those delinquents?" Felix asked. Hiro smiled at him as a reply, "Doesn't change a thing and quit asking about my sister, even I and Haru knows that you liked her."
"Ohh, like some sort of crush?"
"Tch, professional stalker."
"Kai and Tsubaki are not there. Kai is with Haru, you know? Hermes is on his mission in Australia." Raiden tapped his fingers against the table.
"One more thing and I'm nearest peak of my mind thinking that you're a gay." Hiro waved then turn his back at them and was about to press his watch's button when a hole appears in his back that connects to the familiar place with a rock song playing in the background before Hiro got pulled by someone and the hole dispersed.
"Uhh, is that Hera who pulled Hiro?" Samuel asked the two, Raiden shrugged off while Felix pours the whiskey on his glass and drinks it straight up.
"Anyway, how's the game of yours is going?" The man with icy gray eyes looked at Raiden and smirked.
"Throne of flames, isn't it?"
"Everything is all set, of course, I and the two remaining high rulers are just waiting for their movements again. We can't just attack them, I can't lose the queen." He explained. Raiden can sense that the game is not a good idea for all of them yet, he knows his friend very well. Raiden won't be confused if someday a country disappears because of Felix's madness.
"I thought Anubis is just a rumor?" Raiden asked him again. His curiosity about Anubis and the game gave rise to his eagerness to know more about the game and of course, who's Anubis that Felix is talking about. Curiosity is the one thing that'll kill him too.
"I met the Japanese mafia's new master before. Their predecessor is the Silver Phoenix and Dark Dragon." Felix reply.
"Phoenix and Dragon," Raiden murmurs before he looked at Felix with curiosity. "They disappeared years ago. I guess thinking about the mafia's downfall is just a laughingstock's ideals after all. They never failed to be one of the Triumvirates."
"That's right, they disappeared years ago. But the new two is unidentified by organization until they show themselves.." Samuel is the one who answered him this time. "Believe it or not, Anubis and Felix are the ones who proposed the gamble in front of all the Excalibur's agents and other high officials. In this situation, we cannot say it's a win-win for us. It's still a tight rope of a situation."
"That means Felix and Anubis are the game----" He got cut off by Felix's cold stare. "Game master?" Raiden asked the younger one, making him shrug. Felix tapped his index finger off the glass's rim, "Even I is not aware who's who. I joined not because I trust them. I wanted to bring back something that belongs to me."
"My majesty." A man wearing a black suit and red tie called the lady who's looking at the giant glass wall in front of her. On the other side of the glass, the scenery of an active city can be seen. Buildings and other establishments are surrounding the building where they are now.
The lady looked at the man's reflection through the mirror. She smiled and faced him. "How can I help you, Craige?" He put his right hand on his left chest while his left hand was on his back before he bowed in a respectful and gentlemanly way. She motioned him to stand up straight now.
"My majesty, the Falcons succeeded on their first mission earlier this morning," Craige said while watching the lady wearing a golden silk dress that makes her unique beauty showed up. Her hair danced gracefully as she walks towards him.
"Good thing then, Victoria didn't fail me." She was seated on the swivel chair before she crossed her legs. The lady smiled as she tapped her fingers at the armrest of her chair. "We will wait for their next movements again before I let out an order to the Falcons. How's the boy inside the headquarters by the way?"
"Not a good idea, my majesty. That boy killed many of our people." He said in a serious tone.
"I see. I'm going there soon, I'll meet that boy."
"But Amidala, my majesty, that boy might harm you," Craige said in a concerned tone while eyeing the lady. Amidalah giggled and shook her head. Craige is concerned for the safety of the lady in front of him. He oath his loyalty to her that's why he doesn't want Amidalah to get harm although she can protect herself.
"Well, he tells something to Victoria," Craige announce before he looked at the woman in front of him.
"He made Kaizer Lawrence, his doctor as his hostage before he gives a riddle to Victoria." He added.
"He said that I die, I turned into ashes and from the ashes, I come back to life. What am I?"
Amidalah and Craige looked at each other after they confirmed what's on each other's minds. "Phoenix," Craige said, making Amidalah lean at the backrest while her fist is in front of her mouth.
"I think we should focus on the game first before we solved that."
