The first thing that Pandora discussed was the plan concerning the second category of candidates. They would be the center of the formation Pandora had in mind. Behind the strikers on the front and in front of the supports. Such was their placement, and Pandora wanted to tell them in detail regarding it.
It was to avoid unnecessary confusion when the plan finally started. The placement was to make candidates aware of their roles. And focused on their responsibilities instead of worrying if they were doing what they were told to do. At any rate, Pandora was lowering the standards of this plan as she understood that the candidates were no more than strangers a couple of minutes ago.
It would be hard to trust some young one that you didn't even know.
In her opinion, the main actors of the second category within Pandora's plan were three candidates who somewhat had intriguing arcanas. They were none other than Theo, Rhodes, and Maia.
"Theo, Rhodes, and Maia. It is your turn." Pandora calmly called them out. The three immediately followed the instruction and stood forward from the group. They were a bit nervous about what they were supposed to do but kept their emotions in check and didn't dare to reveal it on their faces.
"The three of you will be within the second category of candidates that will be the main force. You will be behind Caspian and Vulcan. Your job is diverse compared to the two, but I am relatively sure that the three of you will be able to handle it." Pandora thoughtfully disclosed to the three candidates.
Theo was a young yet buff candidate with silver-grey hair. He looked somewhat massive despite being the same as them and appeared strong. His appearance would be enough to pressure others, but his arcana was different from what his looks told the others. After all, it was known as Svalinn.
Svalinn was an arcana that created or materialized a shield in any direction or location. The number of safeguards Theo could make was limited to five, but it was enough to protect the front, mid, and back of the formation Pandora had in mind. He would be multitasking as he was the one that would ensure the protection of others.
Unlike the others, Rhodes was a handsome young man who resembled a celebrity. Most would have thought of him as one though he kept denying it as he was still young. He wasn't lean compared to the others, but Rhodes was quite pleasing to observe. But, of course, this was under others' opinion.
His arcana was somewhat helpful in the situation they found themselves in. Its name was Arbor, the arcana that gives him some control over nature.
Arbor was an arcana that gave the ones that held it the power to manipulate a part of nature. Obviously, it wasn't an absolute control, but Rhodes would be able to control roots, trees, grasses, and flowers. It didn't have defensive or destructive capabilities, but it was versatile.
The last one was a young and gorgeous girl who wore an eyeglass. Her name was Maia, and from the vibes that escaped her body. One could think of her as someone who speaks through logic and facts. Though they might be wrong, that was what everyone felt when they looked at her.
Her arcana was called Spell Invoke, and from the words, it stood on. One could quickly tell what it was and its capabilities.
Spell Invoke uses Maia's voice to invoke any spell she can think of. Of course, like in fantasy novels that use mana, the more powerful or altering her arcana becomes. The more energy would be taken from her body. According to Maia, she could only summon five spells under the power of a fireball before exhaustion.
They were the three that would handle the mid-section of Pandora's formation.
"Theo will handle the protection of the front, mid, and back. Don't worry about them getting injured, and concentrate on deflecting the kaos jotunn's attacks. Do you get it, Theo?" Pandora questioned after explaining Theo's job in the mid-section of the formation.
"Understood, Pandora. I'll handle the protection and safeguard the front and back of any attacks of the warrior-class terror." Theo nodded as he was a bit nervous yet perfectly held it within his determined expression. Almost everyone was worried, but like Theo, they were somewhat good at acting.
"Rhodes will handle the deflection and suppression of the warrior-class terror. You will use your arcana to hold its legs. It doesn't have to be tight or firm. Just annoy it by holding onto its legs. That will be enough for the strikers to not get pressured by the terror." Pandora looked at Rhodes right after, and he immediately nodded after hearing her.
"And finally, Maia, your main job will be suppressing the kaos jotunn's senses. Don't randomly fire your spells and wait for the right moment. If you ask what the right moment is, just trust yourself and think what time would be best for him to take a spell." It was Maia's turn to receive Pandora's instructions.
"Okay, but what will the supports do?" Maia nodded in understanding and couldn't help but question the support. Over 30 candidates left, and only five people were fighting against the warrior-class terror. In Maia's opinion... It was quite worrying to have so many people at the back.
Pandora understood the worry Maia had within her mind. It wasn't uncommon to see others worrying about their peers not participating in an important battle. In itself, Pandora thought of this worry as something valid. So with this in mind, she smiled upon hearing Maia and softy uttered.
"Trust me, Maia, and all of you from the front and mid. Do the instructions I told you, and the support will do everything other than that. Quite a lot for me to ask the five of you to trust other candidates to support you. But what can I say." Pandora smirked and continued.
"What grave circumstances this is."
