What are we to each other?

"Argh," I groaned, aching from the pain, and opened my eyes slowly.

"Good morning," Hyun-woo said, gazing at me, taking his attention away from the book.

"What're you doing here?" I asked, tilting my head towards him.

"Why are you thankful for me being the first person you see in the morning is me," he asked, putting down his book and standing up from the couch.

"Really!" I mumbled, trying to stand up.

I fell breathing heavily, as soon as the muscles of my stomach got stretched.

"It's my house, and just keep lying," he ordered.

"You didn't take me to the hospital?" I asked, looking around the room as it was more like a nursing room than a bedroom.

"I did, then I got you transferred here there are many eyes there, it's burdensome,"

"For you,"

"No for you too, you were threatened with her clips,"

"Uh, did she give you this excuse," I asked?

"You knew this excuse would have worked, she'd have a witness and you're already convicted," he rested his hands firmly around my forehead.

"You don't have a fever today," he said, pressing his lips against each other and nodded.

"It isn't her for time too, I knew she already has done it,"

"Uh, but not convicted," he lifted his hands from my forehead.

"You aren't going to ask why I was there," he asked.

"No, I don't care if you decide it halfway after knowing it,"

"Not halfway, I was against it we're not murderers," he said, cutting me off.

"Then I should be thankful, should I,"

"You guys would have become the prime suspect seeing our history, don't wait for praise," I replied.

He looked at the floor with a smirk.

"Accepted," he commented.

"I do, actually I am curious, where is that bitch rely my message to her next time I see her she's dead," I announced, staring at him.

"Also about him too, why is he sleeping like this?" I asked, looking towards Woo-jin, who was sleeping on a chair resting his head over my bed.

It was hardly of any concern to Hyun-woo.

"You had some deep, but it missed your vital organs, seems you'll recover easily," Hyun-woo replied, leaving the room with his book.

"Woo-jin," I called his name.

"Uh," he moaned and woke up with a yawn.

"Yaah! you're up," he shouted, widening his eyes.

"Also are you crazy?" he continued.

"Why you blackmailed her of all people, they'll kill without even our eyes," he argued, standing up from the hair rubbing at the back of his head.

"Are you worried about me,

"Smitten by me?" I gave a sly smile.

"No! I'm par beyond your reach," he replied, casually.

I don't seem to find any abuse for me.

"No, I can't end up in jail because of an impulsive idiot like you," he insisted.

"Get out," I replied, trying to shout while groaning in pain.

"You're loud," I insisted.

"What?" he asked.

"Come outside, dinner is ready," Hyun-woo said, knocking on the door of my room in the evening.

I've been laying down in this room all day listening to their soccer commentary. At Least they know I'm here.

"Show some courtesy, I can't even move," I said, tilting my head away from the window towards the door of the room.

"Step aside," Woo-jin said, after Hyun-woo.

He moved inside after holding the door for Woo-jin.

"Woo-jin the room with the tray of food.

"At least someone is using his mind," I commented, as soon as I noticed the tray in his hand.

Hyun-woo let the door go, after mimicking me.

He put the tray on the side table and went looking for the food table in the cupboard.

I tried to stand up using my palm.

Hyun-woo moved toward me and quietly put his hand behind the back of my head.

"Slowly,"  he said, pushing me ahead to stand up slowly.

"Huh, you're good," he asked, turning his head towards me.

He jolted away, as he realised his face was against mine.

"Huh, I'm fine," I replied, blinking rapidly.

He let go of my shoulders slowly, as soon as I was up.

"I'm leaving, then," he replied, clearing his throat.

"Uh and call your parents in case they would worry," Hyun-woo said, holding the door's knob.

"Huh,"  I mumbled and kept staring at the tray.

"What's this?" I asked as Woo-jin placed the tray on the food table.

"It'll help you get treated," he replied, giving me a spoonful of soup.

"I never had such a terrible meal in my life," I tried to gulp it down with every ounce of effort.

"What happened in school today?" I asked, slurping the soup.

"Don't worry class won't open this week, my family is sponsoring a school trip," he replied.

"So don't worry," he said, dipping the spoon again.

"I want pizza, uh," I asked, pressing my lips together as if I was another spoonful that I am not eating.

"Can I," Hyun-woo say, knocking on the door?

"If you want to change, use my clothes, if you need anything else I'll get them tomorrow," he replied, putting his clothes by the side of my bed.

"Huh," I replied and turned back to Woo-jin.

"Woo-jin, I can't do stuff, it's abysmal," I argued.

He sighed.

"I'll be back, with your pizza," he said, taking the food plate off.

"You should leave, Hera is calling,"

"Also it is 8 miles from any main road," Hyun-woo meddled.

"It's okay," I replied.

"I'm not going anywhere," he said, standing up from the bed.

"I'm not asking you, to leave as I don't want my vacation house bursting with your girlfriend-s," he stated.

"It's okay, you can leave," I chuckled.

"Just wait for a,"

"Don't please!" I replied, with a straight face.

"I'll send someone them," he left, with the food table.

"Get some rest," he asked.

 ***

"I do have some snacks, if you want I can cook for you. I'm better than him," Hyun-woo asked, shifting on the chair beside my bed.

"Do you have a PlayStation," I asked, with my gleaming?

"I kept staring at the tree the whole time, get me a PlayStation," I asked, with a cocked head.

"Yaah, who had PlayStation at their vacation homes!" he chuckled.

"Okay!" I said, exhaling heavily and every ounce of energy got sucked too.

"Then go buy it, you have a lot of money don't you," I turned to him, blinking rapidly after musing a bit.

"Stop acting like this," he said.

"Like what a maniac," I paused.

"No!" he paused with a chuckle.

"Vulnerable, you seem vulnerable."

"That's something I've never heard of," I thought, with a vague smile.

"Stop smiling, and I'm not your servant I ain't leaving anywhere," he shut the discussion off.

"Rock paper scissors, let's do that,"

"I'll win you go get the play station," I suggested, again.

"What's in it for me?" he asked, with a pout.

"Just do it?" I shook his questions off and hid my hands behind my back to prepare for it.

He nodded.

"One…two….three," I said.

We both showed our hands instantly.

"No way, no way why you've got the paper," I stared at him, with a long face and then shifted my gaze at my curled fingers.

"I lost," I said, with a pinched mouth.

"It's nice," he pointed a flick against my face.

"Are you gonna hit me, a girl?" I exclaimed.

"Girl," he coughed.

"You're no girl, you're just…., forget it,"

"Get ready,"

"You should not be hitting a girl, no matter if you see me as one or not, that's chivalry," I argued.

"Then should I kiss you instead because you're a girl I don't think you would like it you hate getting touch….ed," he took a pause.

Our smiles disappeared, and our eyes rested at each other's face.

Our heavy breaths took over the silence.

Is it because we never had to look them in the eyes? I was curious what he was thinking.

"Don't move," he asked, swallowing hard.

I wish I had the power to hold him at that moment, but I never had possessed such power over him nor I will.

"What are you talking about?" I shifted my gaze down and started blabbing to change the topic as guilt started kicking in.

"He is engaged, don't be stupid it's all just hormones," I revised.

"Look at me," he asked, firmly.

"Yaah!" I raised my eyes.

A flick rested against my forehead.

"Uh, I thought," I murmured rubbing my forehead.

"Goodnight," he stands up, clearing his throat.

He closes the door quietly after him on the way out.

I bit my lips softly.

"It's embarrassing what the hell I was expecting," I shook my head.

"He has a fiancee, don't be stupid," I chuckled dryly.
