First time, huh?

I awoke to the sun rise it was a lovely and cool morning. I sat up and rubbed my eyes, clearing the gunk off them.

I looked around and noticed that I was no longer in the fight club, but rather in the middle of a vast desert. How I'd gotten there and why I was there was unknown to me.

After the surprise of my surroundings faded away I noticed a change with my body. First off I wasn't in pain, which had been a constant for the last few years. I wasn't stronger, just healed.

Also my vision was clear as day even though I need prescription lenses. I don't wear them to fight for obvious reasons. There was also different things scattered around like a timer, a map and three buttons.

I focused on the small timer at the top of my vision and it brought up a full timer set for seven days from now. It was slowly counting down the seconds. The second I thought of hiding the timer it minimized to original size.

Next I focused on the map on the bottom left, it brought up a larger circle with a small red arrow and a colored map with my current surroundings on it in a circle as well. The rest of the map was grayed out.

Lastly I focused on the three buttons all the way to the right, they were colored black. On each of the buttons were words written in white.

-Button one-Move left fifty paces.

-Button two- Move forward fifty paces.

-Button three- move right fifty paces.

I decided to ignore the bottoms as I thought more about all I'd seen so far. It seemed like I'd been placed into a game of some sort, but that felt wrong. Was it the guy from before? What did he do to me?

As I was thinking about all this a notification popped up in the middle of my vision, :(No choice has been made for five minutes. Randomly selecting one now.):

The second button immediately lit up and I started moving without warning. I wasn't moving my own feet but being controlled. I started walking on my own and I could feel the control fade.

As I kept walking I noticed a lump in the sand in front of me. It drew nearer and on my last step I landed right on it. Another notification popped up, :(You've died):

I had long enough to read that before I blew up.

I woke up immediately and started to scream before realizing that I was alive. I could still feel the pain of me being blasted to bits. I'm just glad that the dream is over.

From behind a feminine voice said, "First time, huh?"
