You hurt me months ago

And I'm still stewing over it

Why can't I just forgive and forget?

It wasn't all your fault I've made my mistakes

For some reason that was all I could take

You want to be friends

But I swatted your hand

I brought up the past

And things went down real fast

I forgive you so now I'll stop being foolish

I'll calm down and stop acting hellish

I'm sorry for the way I've treated you

I'll give you some time

I'll remove this taboo

You are my friend

I care about you

My actions will speak louder
