Following Boss Hong's orders, Lin Yue drove Sister Hong to her place, and she, being a hospitable host, invited Lin Yue in for a visit and poured him a glass of water.
"Thank you, Sister Hong," Lin Yue expressed his thanks, feeling uneasy in his heart. Seated on the sofa in Sister Hong's living room, he felt as though he was sitting on pins and needles and thought that he should leave quickly.
Boss Hong had many women, and Sister Hong was just one of them, so she did not live with Boss Hong; she had her own place.
"Do you smoke?" Sister Hong offered Lin Yue a cigarette, which he accepted without hesitation and started smoking while looking around the messy room, scattered with beer cans everywhere.
Sister Hong gave an embarrassed smile, "What do you think? Doesn't it look like a woman's place at all, does it?"
Lin Yue nodded, "It's a bit different from what I had in mind."
