Chapter 28

"Yamamoto-san! Yuuto Yamamoto-san!!" Mr Takuya slammed his desk so hard that Yuuto finally wakes up from his daydream.

"Huh?! What happens?!" Yuuto quickly stood up and look around the class.

I turn around while I try to hold in my laughter. I can't imagine that he could be so careless like that in his class.

Mr Takuya just sighs heavily and close his book. He looks at Yuuto seriously.

"Yamamoto-san, I know that you have a good grade in your studies but please, could you just pay attention in my class? Maybe that way, you can improve your English and you can get your A+ in the next examination. Now please have your seat." He crossed his arm and scolded him lightly.

"I am sorry, Mr Takuya. Can I go to the restroom for a while? I need to wash my face." Yuuto asked.

"Yes, you may." Mr Takuya nodded. Yuuto leaves the class and he continues his lesson.

I stare at the door as he closes the door behind him. I wonder what is bothering him so much. Looking at the clock, it was almost lunchtime.

'I guess I have to endure it for another 3 minutes then.... sigh~' I think to myself as I sigh a bit.

Soon the bells rings and our class have been dismissed by Mr Takuya. As I was about to leave my desk with my lunch box, Yui called me.

"Miyu-san, can I have a moment with you? I have a favour to ask." She held my hand. I look at her in confusion because this is the first time anyone has approached me to ask for help. I hesitated a bit but I think I should maybe hear her problem out.

"Sure. What can I help you?" I asked as I smile awkwardly.

"Can we go to somewhere there fewer people? Don't worry, Himari will be there too. There's something I need from you but I don't want anyone to see us when we discuss about it... I hope you understand." Yui begged me.

"Well... I can't say no, can I?" I just smiled at her. 'Maybe she needs my help, I guess.....' Thinking to myself, I try to keep myself positive.

Later, she brings me to the back of the shady school old store room which creeps me a bit. I have never been there ever since I first come to this school. As I looking around in curiosity, Yui waves at Himari and another 2 students, which I don't even know.

"Yo, Himari-chan! Hey, Sakura-chan, Ichika-chan~ How long have you all been waiting?" Yui waves at them in excitement.

They look friendly, but that tomboy-ish girl looks like she could punch me anytime. Smiling awkwardly at them, I just wave and greets them.

"Hello....my name is Miyu Takahashi....nice to meet you all." I greeted.

"My, my... You sure are clueless..... anyways my name is Ichika, nice to meet you." The tomboyish girl come towards me and smirked.

"Huh? Excuse me? What did I miss?" I asked in case if I have miss any of their conversation.

Suddenly she pours water all over my head. Then I realized, she keeps on holding a bottle behind her. Confused, I look at her and asked.

"What are you doing?!" I asked as my hair and clothes are drenched in water.

"What are we doing? We are just welcoming you from being our 'friend', right girls?" The twin braided hair girl looks at me through her glasses. Then she suddenly punched my face.

*Twack!!*

"Ugh!" I groan as I hold my cheek. My whole body is trembling and I feel something is wrong with them.

"Girls, you shouldn't treat her that way!" Himari said as she comes closer to me.

"Himari-san...." I feel thankful that she stood up for me until she punched my stomach. My whole body feels extremely pains as I fall on the ground.

"You should give her even more 'friendlier' welcome punch," Himari smirked.

"Pfft!! Mari, you are so sick, girl." The twin braided girl laughed in satisfaction. I curled my whole, aching body. I can't fight against them since my ankle is still in recovery.

"Hey you, slut!" Yui pulled my hair and bring my face close to her.

"Ah!!" I cried in pain as she pulled my hair so harshly. She looks me in the eye and I can feel her murderous instinct.

"Don't you ever, EVER try to steal my Yuuto from me! Or else I won't let you go this easily. And if you ever try to tell anyone about our little 'welcoming party'...."

Yui come closer to me and whispered, "I will kill you.....".

At that moment, I am trembling but not in fear... As she notices my trembling body, she lets go of me and smirked.

"Let's go girls. We are done here." Yui leaves me alone.

"Bye pretty bitch! Oh, I forget to tell you that my name is Sakura. I hope we can spend more time together in the future." The twin braided hair girl waves goodbye at me while looking down at me.

After they have left me there alone, I slowly sit down on the dirty ground. Looking at the sky, my whole body is trembling and aching. I never thought that one day I will be bullied by my classmate. Somehow I feel betrayed and lonely.

'I guess I have to dirty my hand once again after I already promised not to repeat it at the shrine...' I think to myself.

I held out my hand up and touch the sunlight that shines above me. 'I guess I have to deal this my own way then. Way to go, Mi-chan~' I try to cheer myself up. I stand up from the ground and brush the dirt off my skirt. My hair is wet, so does my cloth.

*Sigh~*

'I guess I need to go back to my class like this....' I sighed in disappointment. I twisted my drenched sleeves and at least a few water droplet have squeezed out. 'Its sure will take a little bit of time to dry my clothes then.' I look at my clothes and guessed.

''Oh, shit! I have forgotten about Yuuto! I hope I can still make it in time!'' I slapped my forehead with my palm. Then, I hurry myself up so that I didn't miss my lunch with him as promised.
