Once the demons started a fierce war against the gods. The adviser not the demons was shukracharya. He knew the art of bringing the dead back to life. The gods killed many demons,but shukracharya at once brought them back to life.

The adviser of the gods was Brihaspati. He was a wise and learned Brahman,but he didn't know the art of bringing the dead back to life.So the gods were worried. Brihaspati had a young son, named kach. After much thought, the gods decided to send kacch to shukracharya. They wanted him to learn from shukracharya the art of bringing the dead back to life.
